For me, this brunch spot was a vibe. Service was friendly, professional and appropriately “familiar, “ if you will. I felt confident that my waitress, Nini, and every other wait staff was both very able and willing to provide service that was above and beyond. They were all appropriately attentive, responsive and amicable. 10/10
🍽️ Now, BAbeeee! 😜 When I say that food “slapped,” I mean that food “slapped.” Phew! Soooo good! Now, I didn’t get the chef’s name so I can’t speak to what experience you’ll have because you might mess around and go on day when a different chef is there. “Ion know.” I went on a Saturday around 1:45pm or so and my trip to Florida was better as a result. lol. ✨
Omg! The French Toast!!!!!!! Perfection! The texture was not too dry and not too wet. It was just right! AND THE FLAVOR! 💋👌🏽 In addition to that the berries were fresh and served at the perfect temp. The shrimp 🍤 was super yummy. The 🥓 bacon was cooked well and had more meat than fat on it. It was all so worthy of pre plan of coming again. Even tho the eggs had more cheese than egg- I’m still giving food 5⭐️s because that French Toast still has me “sprung!” Next time I’ll just order plain scrambled eggs.
Atmosphere was the best. I went to the Farmer’s Market location so it was naturally outside. The set up they have is really good. It actually feels like it really is its own space. It’s full of color in all the right ways. The decor tells a story. It highlights Harriet Tubman, which is my favorite part, but it also highlights hip hop culture and black artists. It’s dope. They have the music to match the vibe too. 😎 It’s cool. Plenty of photo opportunities. 👌🏽
Overall, this place is worth your $20 bucks and more. I definitely recommend having brunch here. I will be back for more!!!...
Read moreI totally forgot to write this review and now that I’m thinking about going today I just realized I didn’t. . I visited Dub Brunch Bar 2 Sundays ago and I was very pleased with the entire service.
🍽️Service: Our waitress was Aria and she was amazing. Very kind and attentive! I love restaurants that the owner will not allow the ship to sink, Ray was making sure that everyone was taken care of and happy with their food. We had an issue where my sister was allergic to strawberries and we didn’t realize it was on the French Toast and the Owner Ray didn’t hesitate to Recook the dish and bring it back. That is such quality customer service where we should have asked what came on it but the instant remedy without making us feel like shit it so Too Tier.
🍳Food: Was delicious we had the Shrimp and Grits, Steak & Eggs, & waffles with Bacon. Very well cooked and flavorful, very impressed with how the food is prepared.
💡: I love the concept of $20 brunch and all the decor and aesthetic! Very unique and the art is wonderful. Just quality experience at a good price. Tip: Bring your own bottle of wine! They don’t sell any adult drinks and said it was ok. Their juices did look very refreshing!! They do have a Ballers menu with lobster and such for an extra cost 💲 if you are craving that!! Parking is $10 and honestly I walked around the market and enjoyed myself until...
Read moreI would not recommend dining here. Upon arrival, we were surprised to learn there was a $10 parking fee due to the restaurant being located inside a farmers market. While inconvenient, we would have overlooked that had the overall experience been even remotely acceptable.
Finding the restaurant required navigating through the market with no clear signage or assistance, and repeated calls to the restaurant went unanswered. When we finally arrived, we stood in the sun for over 10 minutes with multiple staff members passing by none of whom acknowledged us or offered any help.
Eventually, a staff member approached and took down a reservation. The hostess informed us there would be a 30-minute wait and that we would receive a text once our table was ready. We waited an hour without any communication and decided to return on our own. Once again, we stood unattended at the front for several minutes before someone finally came out only to tell us that nearly the entire menu was unavailable, aside from mac and cheese and a lobster dish. We had come specifically for breakfast, which was no longer being served.
Had we not returned on our own, I highly doubt we would have been contacted at all. The lack of professionalism and disregard for basic customer service was incredibly disappointing. This experience felt disorganized, dismissive, and completely lacking in...
