This McDonald's is terrible. I was there on Sunday, March 24th, 2025. I ordered a quarter pounder and cheese and a drink from the kiosk because, you know, a real person can't ring your food up anymore. I waited 22 minutes in the lobby with my number, and no one ever brought me a sandwich or a drink. I approached the front counter to inquire about my order. The order was clearly sitting there in a bag. When I asked about it, the employee told me that he assumed already had my food. What was that assumption based on? I have no idea.
You then looked at me blankly and just said sorry. When he handed me my drink, a frozen Coke, it erupted out of the lid and went everywhere all over the counter. He just looked at it like you had no idea what to do. This is when I politely asked just to get a refund because I didn't have the time to wait another 20 minutes. They processed a refund.
I then politely asked if there was a manager, and then a tiny black woman came at me like a pack of dogs on a three-legged cat. She immediately got loud and accuse me of raising my voice, which I never did. I tried to have a conversation with her, but she insisted they were understaffed even though I could see at least six people standing around doing nothing but watching this drama unfold at a McDonald's that was almost empty on a Sunday afternoon.
I asked for the name of the store manager. She refused to give it. She said that was personal private information and they weren't authorized to give it out. I'm pretty sure if I had looked around I might have seen it posted somewhere because that seems to be common practice for fast food restaurants. But, I didn't have the opportunity to do that because I was promptly asked to leave. I also asked for her name as she had no name tag on; she refused to give it. Finally, I asked for the name of the store owner or an email, and I was also refused that information. I was told to come back on Monday and talk to the manager.
I, instead, called the store manager on Monday. I did receive an apology and a "guarantee" that she would look into it further. The store manager told me she had been informed of the incident but had yet to investigate it. I encouraged her to review the security footage to look at my body language and, if possible, to hear the conversation. I've never been so poorly treated at a restaurant in my entire life.
I don't know what I expected out of McDonald's. I mean, honestly, I'm sure they think this is all on me. But, it doesn't seem like too much to ask that if I have to use your kiosk ordering system and take a number you deliver my food in less than 20 minutes when there's three other customers in the lobby and six people working....

Read moreI can't believe I forgot to share my experience from a few months ago! Well here it goes, went to this McDonald's drive thru for breakfast. Placed my order, when I pulled up to the window. The girl repeated my order, something about the order she said. Did not sound like my order so I then said, no. That's not my order, she then took a deep breath as if she was trying to hold her composure. Then said, WHAT DID YOU ORDER?! I then repeated my order, she then snapped and said THAT'S WHAT I SAID! I then replied to her, no need to have an attitude. I probably misheard what you said, at this point I had already given her my card for payment. She just kept talking and yapping away, just doing the most. I then said, hurry up and give me my card back! She then replied, THE ONLY WAY YOU'RE GOING TO GET THIS CARD BACK IS IF I THROW IT AT YOU! I then placed my car in park and proceeded to head straight to the drive thru window! I began shouting and yelling, DO IT! THROW THE CARD! LET ME SEE YOU DO IT! At this point, she just stood there and still kept running her mouth. The manager then came and deacticulated the situation, she was very professional and apologetic about the entire situation. But honestly, she did not seem surprised at all by the girls action nor behavior. Which leads me to believe, this girl does this all the time.
I then placed a call to corporate to report the situation, because at the end of the day. Doesn't matter if you're having a bad day or not, you don't threaten anyone with violence especially when my child was in the car as well. Regardless if it were McDonald's or any fine dining restaurant, the employees actions were wrong and unacceptable!...
