An overall amazing restaurant. My father took me here on a Friday evening for a father-daughter dinner date. When we first arrived, we were seated immediately. Even though it isn't very big, this restaurant gives off a very cozy- almost homey like- aura. The staff was incredible. Very friendly. The menu was easy to understand. They had great music playing. (For any K-Pop fans out there) The food was extremely delicious. I ordered the Kkan Pung Gi - Chicken, I have to say, it was some of the best chicken I've had in my entire life. My dad ordered the Tang Su Yook, he said "The best sweet and sour I've ever had". Another impressive feat of the staff at this restaurant is, when the waitress noticed my dad struggling to use chopsticks and without us even asking her for a fork she brought it. What an extraordinary staff! My father gave a 20% tip which he never does. He had this to say about the tip. "Usually if it's good I give 15% maybe 18% if it's really good." Also, I was sporting my favorite K-Pop band that day, and the waitress noticed and offered to play some of their music. Seriously, this place is amazing. Great for...
Read moreI was shopping in Aventura mall and craved Korean food so I googled and found this hidden gem! The location is hidden and had to get some help from the staff to find it. My advice is it's in the shopping center where you will see a Wawa's on the corner. The small restaurant is located near the thrift store. It's small when you walk in, you're greeted by the sweetest guy! I believe it's his mother's place. They brought out the banchan my favorite side dishes! Omg the kimchi was so delicious. When I asked about it, it is homemade by the mom! Of course you can taste the love she puts into it. I loved it so much I took some to go. Also, you are given bean sprouts and fish cake as side dishes. I ordered bulgogi. It was cooked to perfection on the hot skillet accompanied with onion and green onion sizzling on the grill. Very tasty! Then I had the japchae. A staple noodle dish. And the kimchi soup. The broth was tasty! Overall it was a great hidden gem that I found. If you are craving Korean in Hollywood area this is...
