Smokey's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Holmen

Unfortunately, we had an negative experience today at Smokey's. There was an employee who approached my friend and me while we were outside enjoying our cool beverages, having a nice time on the patio. The employee, who appeared to be bartending and cooking, came over to us and interjected themself into our conversation, expressing their political opinions unprovoked into our conversation. It made for a very awkward experience. I feel like Smokey's generally offers a better experience, but unfortunately this employee gave us a very negative experience. And we ended up leaving quickly after arriving despite planning on spending the evening to eat and drink for awhile. She also donned apparel expressing said political stance and it felt very polarizing. I respect everyone's point of view but being out with my friend, I didn't anticipate to lack of professionalism and verbal attack...

First time there last night. Encouraged to go there to play bargo. The game was fun and it was posted on facebook to come there to have fun and win prizes. The owner of the establishment won two prizes and the bartender one once. I think thats in poor taste when you advertise for people to come there and have paying customers and the staff and owners are playing. Ordered food two philly steak and cheese sandwiches were terrible. Served on a hamburger bun,one fat piece of meat not shaved like it should be,cheese was like cheap imitation slices.
