4 Amigos Mexican Restaurant Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Holts Summit

Dine in | Dinner | $20–30 I love supporting small businesses and a huge fan of Mexican food, I went in and order my food along with a margarita, my food came out super fast , even before I had one drink of my margarita. Unfortunately two bites into my food , I discovered something that just didn’t look like food , I touched it and felt hard and plastic like , I immediately went and told my server about it. They apologized for that and immediately wanted to make a new plate of food. They brought the second plate out and it was so spicy, nothing I ever experienced before with Mexican , I love some heat , but this was on another level, so at this time I was almost done with my drink. They offered me another drink on them on the house, at the time I was still working on my second order of food then, my check for the food was delivered , they kept on asking is everything ok is everything ok. I’m like yeah you had plastic in my food , but sure everything was ok. They ended up sending me a bill for all of my meal and the drink, completely complimentary only on second drink. But I was applaud over the fact that would’ve my child or my 75 year old grandmother ate that piece of plastic??? Anyways my point here is I would’ve done everything and anything to make the customer know that this was completely unacceptable in anyway , and let me make that up to you and your meal on me amigo!! Or better yet offer a gift card for another visit , just something, not a free margarita just because you think that solves...

A new gem in Holts Summit! Authentic Mexican cuisine with beautiful plated presentation (love the added touch of a spray of grilled onions and sliced radishes and cucumbers on the side of the tacos). Delicious and very good portion size. Extremely attentive and friendly staff. Large menu to choose from. I look forward to sampling and reviewing their margaritas once they obtain their liquor license!...

With the overall quality of Mexican food going downhill in my hometown, this place has been a breath of fresh air. The food is good, it always comes out quick and fresh.
