What a downright lovely bookstore!! The lady who worked there was so very sweet, friendly, and helpful! She gave me a rundown of the store layout and made me feel so welcome and comfortable in asking for help to find an author I was looking for. Read moreI love that Holts Summit has a used book store. It is very organized and there are postings up mapping out the layout. What I don’t love is there are no prices listed anywhere and when I asked about pricing when I was checking out I was told $5 for paperback and $6 for hardback. To me that’s a little steep for used books and across the board pricing really doesn’t make sense to me. I also wish there was more signage posted indicating their pricing. I did find a rather rare $100 paperback that I traded 8 books (thats the trade deal 8 for 1) or I could have paid $5 for it. $5 for paperback $6 for hardbacks.
