New China — Restaurant in Holts Summit

Ami and I have been friends for over 19 years and I am happy to say that I was so happy to see her on my birthday yesterday, i moved since then but if and when I get a chance I always stop where food is always fresh, not frozen, have a special dish they make for me not on the menu, no matter what people may say oriental folks are most friendly. But when it comes to business all about making money. My children have children now, and we came from a Christmas event, so I wanted some of my favorite food and see my friend and spend a warm evening eating and reminiscing and that is exactly what we did. The food is very good, much better than the two Chinese restaurants in Fulton. But the service is nothing short of horrendous. Maybe if you catch them at a good time it’s better. But we put in an order (5 meals) and it took just over 2 and a half hours for our food. The restaurant is set up for to go orders. They told us 40 minutes. I have all the respect in the world for a busy restaurant, but have a clue on wait times. Don’t tell someone 40 minutes and be 4 times that. If you’re just honest and say you’re slammed I will go elsewhere. Great food and awesome atmosphere. They really go out of their way to make you happy. To the reviewer who went and had a bad experience (there was only one), I know there have been a few days in the past year that they were understaffed. I was pretty upset one of those days, it may have been the same day you went. It was a freak thing, I challenge you to try again, it is not how it normally goes. They even cut up my kids food for them, help them with the buffet, make special dishes for the kids and for my wife who has gluten allergy, They cater to special needs and everyday people.
