Kitchen Grill — Restaurant in Homestead

I should've walked out when I saw it was completely empty, even though every other nearby restaurant was full. I got overcharged despite questioning it several times. A small nutri chop (chicken and rice only) should've been LESS THAN $6 INCLUDING tax. They charged me $6.94. When I asked why it was almost $7 for a small, they said it includes a drink. I told them I didn't want the drink, and just charge me for the chop. THE PRICE DIDN'T CHANGE. So I said, "So is the price the same with or without the drink?" They said, "it's cheaper that way." I said, "ok, well if you're gonna charge me for it anyway, you may as well give me the drink then." He shrugged AND WALKED AWAY! ARE YOU SERIOUS??? Horrible service. Never again.

UPDATE: When I got home to eat, the chicken was dry, and the rice had minimum flavor and nothing in it like vegetables or even onion. I also looked at other reviews, and no surprise, none of the negative reviews had any responses to it from management to at least apologize for their experience. We ordered delivery today and everything was perfect! From the first conversation on the phone with the super pleasant guy who answered...to when we received all three of our meals completely perfect, everything was phenomenal! For my two-year-old daughter I ordered a kids meal with rice and black beans and chicken which they chopped very finely and made it so easy for her to self feed! My husband ordered a bowl with yellow rice and cheese and then chicken and chicken skin and he said it was exquisite! Then my south beach bowl which was delicious and perfect! Old and half eaten! Terrible service from morning crew! We WERE regulars until this! We just went to get lunch... The guy opened a small used container about 1/4 full & gave us what looked like someone else's left overs. I said something and the guy gave us excuse after excuse until my husband agreed to take it. Then we ask for white rice & the girl pulled out a plastic container with 8/21/18 written on the label (it was 8/26/18) and was jabbing the metal spoon in the rice to break it apart! I told her the rice was old and restaurants weren't allowed to keep food from one day to the next, let alone for 5 days! She gave me an attitude and said "well what do you want?"
