Be forewarned, come with a big bucket of time & patience. There'll be lots of waiting & lack lustered organization. It's like a trip back in time to our caveman days, survival of the rudest. Some ppl will wait honorably despite other ppl cutting in front. Others just loudly announce their orders regardless of line. Pinecrest personnel are aloof to the chaos. They go about their day indifferent to the disorganized crowd. And they'll take any line cutting's order! Feels like a riot may spontaneously break out any second when the crowd gets large enough. I'd just leave & come back later if the craving is still there. Excellent bakery otherwise, serving a huge variety of tasty pastries. It's gerally clean, with a small rectangular foot print. Come early for better & larger selections. Try them all with a cafe con leche and get ready to jog it off. They make sandwiches, & many deserts too! This is not a weight watcher friendly place. Be sure to grab a number on your way in to help with the organization, hardly! Have patience, there'll be waiting, then more waiting. Did I mention waiting? It's a rather small bakery so have extra patience during high traffic hours. There are a couple of tiny tables inside that you can use, but they'll likely be used by waiting customers. Better for pick up & go since theres no table service. Plenty of compact parking. Bring your mopeds. No bathroom. PB is generally more expensive than other bakeries, but their bake goods are sooo goood. Check your receipts. Cash discount. 5 stars for...

I placed on order on Uber Eats and they did not have 4 of the items I ordered. They called me to let me know and if I wanted to replace them. I said no. I wanted the items I ordered. If they did not have it then they can cancel the order. Both the worker and the Uber driver were extremely rude and refused to cancel the order and told me to cancel on my end. If I cancelled on my end, the app would charge me $63. The worker told me they can not cancel from their end. I told the worker that they do have the ability. I have also sold through Uber Eats and the same way they can accept an order, they have the ability to cancel it. Well the worker did not like that I actually had experience with Uber Eats and decided to hang up on me. I called Uber Eats and they were able to cancel but after being a long time and loyal customer of Pinecrest Bakery, I will no longer be purchasing from any of their locations. I used to think back to my experiences 10 years ago at the Key Largo location where the workers would treat me like family. Through the years, the customer service has been horrible and the quality of food has been worse. Just last week my cousin got super sick after eating from the location in Miami Beach. I have always been an advocate and loyal customer but this was the last...

Me and a lot of my coworkers go here daily. Personally i am not writing this because i don't enjoy the food. Simply to highlight that fact that you all have an employee and woman, that most times i see her wears glasses, usually attending the front area, older spanish woman. She every single time i walk in there she makes me feel unwelcome. I say hello good morning and ask for my order everyday and be the bigger person every time i receive terrible customer service from her. When i say my order, she rolls her eyes and says something under her breath. Most of the time she doesn't even respond she just heres your order walks off and throws it on the counter like it’s an issue. This behavior happened today again. And i am so tired of her foolishness. This isnt a reflection of everyone just her!! Many of the staff ,especially javi that works in the front regardless if its busy takes the time to take care of me and make me feel welcome and im always thankful for that . I will follow up and gladly provide this woman name because she isn't a good representation of the location. Everyone says the same thing about this woman. Her attitude it disgusting . Please take the time to look into this woman and get her out of there !!! Please...

While the food is good but the business practices are deceptive. They were being shady in my opinion. 1) I was going to pay with a $100 bill. There was no sign that they do not take $100 bills...I double checked. They did not want to take it because the bill was "old". It was not a "newer series" according to the cashier. They wanted me to use my credit card which would then remove the cash discount that the establishment offers. They did verify that the bill was valid with the pens/markers. I restated that there was no sign about high bills nor bills that are old and that they couldn't obligate me to use my card. 2) They prices on the display do not reflect what you are being charged. When I asked why the prices differentiated they said it was taxes. So my question is, then why are taxes also appearing on the bottom of the receipt? Am I paying double tax? (Receipt enclosed) Overall, it would have been a couple of dollars difference between the credit card and taxes but it's the lack of transparency and dishonesty. Regardless of the food, if I can't trust a business then they don't deserve MY business.

A super familiar place. Music plays softly, staff call out orders in Spanish, and the buzz of espresso machines and juicers hum in the background. My friend and I got a colada, a mango shake, un pan con tortilla, and an empanada camaguayana de carne. While everything was DELICIOSOS, the empanada was the highlight for me! I would highly recommend it. It would add to your experience to speak Spanish while here but if you don't speak it, most staff are bilingual regardless. The wifi is great, and though the AC makes it a little chilly inside, with a light pullover you'll be fine if you run cold like me. Please note that while there are a handle of tables for indoor seating, and a few outdoors too, there is really only one outlet by the front inside table, so plan to come with your electronics fully charged if you're going to stay a while working remotely or something. Other than that, I don't know how I'll resist coming back to this place! The staff were all wonderful, helpful, and fun. We even danced a bit to the music. Can't wait to try more of the menu!

The sandwich was indeed delicious, and the place is bustling with popularity. However, there are a few aspects to be mindful of. The staff, clad in gloves, handle the POSGI, dispose of trash, and touch the bread. OMG. plus, Even though I can see their facial expressions, the experience becomes uncomfortable when selecting "no tip" results in a negative reaction from them. Furthermore, the establishment's insistence on choosing a tip before receiving the ordered bread raises questions about whether it's a service charge or just an unusual policy. The ambiguity around giving a 15-20% tip is perplexing, as it feels more like a job requirement than an additional service. I'm not a fan of the store introducing this system.
