I ordered a Vente White Mocha (like most mornings at the Starbucks via my mobile app to pick up at the drive thru window. This morning I ordered my drink while I was 3 blocks away on Campbell (7:13am) as per app. 4 minutes later I'm behind 2 cars waiting to tell the barista that I have a mobile order for pick up. It is now 7:18am, app states order appears to be ready since 7:17am. Drove up, said good morning, no food order when lady via speaker asked and proceed to tell her I have a mobile order and my name. Not sure she heard my name for she asked and I stated my name, then she replied that there were several mobile orders (which I'm sure there were since there are 5 cars in front of me & 3 behind at the drive thru). She said she would check for my order and proceeded to lecture me...said "order is being prepared and that I should order before getting to the store, next time. " 😦 I did! And I have the proof! I didn't reply to her and just drove up. When I got to the window the order was ready, however when I got to my office the order was not complete, they missed adding the white chocolate in my Vente White chocolate. Read moreI WAS JUST RACIALLY PROFILED AT THIS LOCATION BY ONE OF THE WORKERS.. My wife placed a mobile order so that I can just pick it up for us and our kids, which contained 4 drinks 2 grande’s and 2 venti’s and a cheese danish. The order was over $30. So I walked in to grab the order 2 drinks and the cheese danish was ready, the worker who claims her name is HARRIS runs over OH ARE YOU SURE THOSE BELONG TO YOU LET ME SEE YOUR RECEIPT. At the same time another customer a white female walks in and come straight to the counter and grabs her three drinks yet she says nothing to her. So I’m like yes these are mine and I told her my wife’s name which is on the order.. So she’s oh let me see your receipt, I’m like I’ve never shown a receipt when I pick up a mobile order that my wife has placed.. I refused because again my wife placed the order through her app, she replies OH I CAN REFUND YOUR DRINKS SINCE YOU REFUSE TO SHOW PROOF. Now since when do you have to show a receipt to pick up your mobile order and when I asked for her manager or supervisor she lied and says they’re not there and she refused to give her name. This kind of behavior is unacceptable just because I’m a 6’2 black male walking in a half empty Starbucks to pick up a mobile order it’s a crime.. SMH WHEN IS THIS GOING TO STOP...
Read moreMy 3 experiences have been horrible. All three times my drink was made wrong. The second time probably was my worse experience because my drink had been sitting there for 20 min even when I asked them if my mobile order was ready and one of the drinks sitting there. Two employees looked and “did not see it” I waited patiently another 15 minutes until the guy sees in fact a drink sitting there was mine. He emptied what was in there (didn’t even get me a new cup) and made my drink and handed it to me. He didn’t even put ice or ask me if I wanted ice (given it was an iced nitro brew coffee) so my drink was super warm and tasted discussing.
I understand it gets busy but I’ve gone to other Starbucks busier and they always manage to at least get the drinks right. I’m a young adult myself so I get there’s a lot of young people who work here but we are coming to pay for quality drinks and that’s what I expect to receive.
