I chose to dine in and all staff were hiding in back and the front counter was deserted. The restaraunt was empty and no customers in drive thru at about 8:30pm. A couple was walking away from the counter to the parking lot with no food in hand when we entered (not a good sign). The staff were joking and chatting and saw my group walk in, but wouldn't come to the register nor acknowledge our presence. Eventually I noticed a kiosk to the side and finally figured out that is how I could get some food. So we ordered food and drinks and waited. When the food was ready, the kid dropped a bag at the counter, yelled my name and walked off. The drink cups were forgotten and I called into the kitchen but they continued to ignore me. So...I walked around the counter to pull two cups off of the stack. As I am walking toward the drink station a short woman wtih dyed red hair blows past the counter from the parking lot and mentions something about kicking us out of the store. I go back to the counter to ask if she was talking to me and she confirms that if I ever try to go behind the counter again I woudl be banned from the store. I explained that I tried to get someone's attention but I was being ignored so I grabbed the cups. She told me she watched it all go down from her car in the parking lot and that she is the MANAGER (with emphasis). Her team is busy working; so it was my problem that I don't have the drink cups (I guess?). I told her that there are no other customers in the store and that her staff was goofing off in back and ignoring the customers that come in. She then told me to take my food and leave the store...OK. As I was being lectured by a very rude MANAGER, another customer walked in and saw the treatment I was receiving and turned around and walked out too. This location is doing a great job of protecting their staff from being overworked. They are literally ejecting customers from the store. Congrats, they won't have to worry about my patronage bothering them ever again.
Oh and the food was sloppily/incorrectly prepared and almost no meat in any of the items. In addition to the terrible treatment I received, it was definitely a poor value for the price I paid. As a business owner, I would prefer to have given this feedback to the owner of the franchise since I would like to have received the same regarding my employees. Unfortunately, I couldn't find that information handily through a web search so I am leaving it here in a...
Read moreI have been to this location several times, and every time, I have been treated like trash. From the moment you enter this restaurant, to the moment you leave, you will feel unwanted.
When we first walked in, we asked if we could order at the front desk, we were told by an employee that we had to use the screens to order. He then walked off. We finished our order and (just like every time) it did not work. We stood at the front for a few minutes before someone finally came over to help us. This help was to "just try again." After trying and failing again, we stood, again, at the desk waiting for help. When someone eventually came to help (this time a different person), the employee literally asked, "Why am I here?" to our face.
Once we got our order, we noticed that they had given us 4 nacho fries instead of 2 nacho fries and 2 nachos. We told them about this mistake, to which they (a third employee) responded, "That's what was on the order."
This location will leave you asking the same question their employees ask: "Why am I here?" Because of this, I must give the Taco Bell in the Grove 1 star due only to the fact that Google Maps requires a rating of at least one star to...
Read moreVisited today and we specifically stated that we want our food (Cantina tacos and chalupas ) as close to the advertisement photo as possible. Once we receive the food and was on the interstate we noticed that our food was totally different from what it should have been so we called and asked for the manager. She got on the phone and I explained to her that the Cantina tacos should be fresh and in a little box with tomato’s, sour cream, shredded cheese, lettuce and nacho like cheese. She began SCREAMING on the phone yelling “I fix your food and I put the cheese on the bottom”. I stated that I am looking at the tacos and there’s only meat, lettuce and shredded cheese, basically a regular taco!. Look at the picture below. We received 4 of these. She said that they were out of tomatoes but I didn’t get the memo. She was cursing up a storm! Then she hung up. I called back and a guy picked up and I ask for the corporate manager. He ask me to hold on and 5 seconds later, the phone hung up. UNPROFESSIONALISM at it best! Owner if you are reading this please pull up the phone conversation today October...
