Location owner: From our first experience, which was great, we have been satisfied with product and service. But today we ordered and were told we would have our order within 45 minutes to one hour. As the hour went by we reached out for an update. We were told the driver was out for delivery. Now it's 1 and a 1/2 after we were told the order would be delivered. We call back to cancel as it is now 8p with no delivery in sight. We told the Marcos employee the issue and asked for a discount under the circumstances if delivery is coming still or to cancel. The person said Marcos/they would cancel. No I sorry for the delay, sorry I offer X, NOTHING AS! As these words came from their mouth the driverey car pulled up outside our home. No exit from the car by delivery person, they drove off. We guessed the Marcos employee on the phone called them to cancel. In the sake of "Good customer service" I would expect the employee on the phone to at least "TRY" to have a happy customer. But no! This employee just lost a customer and I will make it my business to note this to others who might want to enjoy a pizza. Pizza Hut or Domino's might be a better option if this is how being extremely late is addressed by this location of Marcos. Customer service is your business! If it's an employee shortage issue then advise. The cost to gain a customer is measured in satisfaction, which WE are...
Read moreI'm a pizza fanatic. I'm always in search of the best in town. While I would not say Marco's is the best, for a chain I think they are. I think Jeff's opinion of the cheese is a little harsh, although it was a year ago and that's when I started ordering from this Marco's so maybe they've upgraded their mozzarella. I've made pizzas at home using Publix dough, and a specialty mozzarella from their cheese case, the name of which escapes me now, but it has some blue on its packaging and maybe named "Olivia". The dough, sauce and mozzarella are all vital in producing a good pizza. As Jeff experienced, if any one of these "legs" is missing it ruins it all. I will say that I think Marco's mozzarella at least in the near recent history...since fall 2014.. has been using some good cheese. Not a perfect 10 as I think that's hard to do on a chain scale. But I say about an 8.5. Their dough is extremely good as is their sauce.
Try this, order a Marco's pizza and the same from Domino's, and try them side by side in a taste test. I had Domino's recently at a work function and I literally had to eject it into the waste can. Something I rarely do with any pizza.
Finally, I've always been pleased with their wings. They're consistently plump and juicy. I also like their subs and salads. For what...
Read moreI ordered a large pepperoni thin crust pizza today. I order from this location from time to time the exact same thing and never received a pizza this dark and crispy. The pizza actually tasted like a cracker. I called to report to the manager on duty and his only suggestion was to bring the pizza back for a remake. I shouldn't have to do all that which I didn't being that I had already made it home. From a long day of work, picking up kids from school and trying to find the quickest thing to eat the manager asks me to bring the pizza back is the only way to supposedly make it right. Customer satisfaction is everything. A pizza credit would've been acceptable but I will not order here again in a while. Their pizza isn't all that cheap either. Highly dissatisfied with the customer service of the manager which I forgot to get a name and the quality of my pizza...
