This new restaurant is off to a bad start. Dining Room is frequently closed in the afternoons / evenings. Store runs out of popular items quickly due to demand. White rice instead of brown? Drink machine out of syrup and none in stock??? Dry hard burned potatoes?? So why did they invest so much money in this new location if they did not intend to run it properly?? Someone obviously spent a lot of money on this venture just to give it an early bad reputation. I'm not buying the "can't find employees" thing as we can easily see the same number of staff visible at these restaurants day or night....
1/28/23 7:30 pm: well I stayed away from here for a little while to allow things to stabilize and decided to come back this Saturday evening whenever it appeared the dining room was open. When I first got inside there was a man standing there and occasionally walking around. I placed my order and in about 10 or 11 minutes The man who was standing around said my name and it appeared someone had given him my order. The Powerbowl I received was kind of skimpy on food but I ate it anyway, It had an unusual baking soda aftertaste for some reason. My guest advised me that her four cheesy bean and rice burritos had no cheese on them so I brought them back. In a few moments a lady came up whom I'm assuming is the manager and said "we have no rice". The lady told me that it would take 30 minutes to cook rice because she cannot "use uncooked rice" which I thought was an unusual thing to say. I asked the lady what do you do in a situation like this and she looked at me and walked away. One of the counter people ended up helping me, acting confused in handling the matter when I finally said can you offer me something as an alternative and at first he seemed confused but then he offered regular burritos which I agreed to. The man who was walking around told me he had been there 30 minutes and had not received his order yet. When I stood there to wait for a second order that I had placed as I was not full I noticed the trash can in the food preparation area was overflowing and the employees were throwing trash items onto the floor. The floor was littered all the way up to the customer counter where I noticed there were three or four brand new sacks just laying on the floor too. Upon exiting the restaurant I noticed that a bicycle was chained in the public outdoor area to one of the customer chairs which I photographed. I don't think this place has gotten any better than before It appears to be exceptionally poorly managed. I hope some child does not injure himself attempting to move the bicycle. I have seen situations where toddlers have become entangled in chained bicycles with...
Read moreListen. This simply kills me. I really wanted to shout out love and happiness where my belly takes me. This TB is beautifully remodeled. Needless to say, my car shimmied and shaked until I made a "run for the border". [I am a thick one because my car gets hungry too] I opened the app... IMAGINE MY SURPRISE!!! Not only 1 but 2 rewards. (Can't use them at the same time despite expiring, some locations blah blah.... And mainly, some assembly required.)
It's 9:51. The app allowed me to order Nacho Fries (nachos... cuse they're mine). I placed my "expensive" order of 2 things. (1 was free) Drive to the window. BAM! This was the moment that I knew I made a mistake.
3 minutes in the drive thru in complete confusion. They're on breakfast not lunch, they said. They don't have fries now, they said. I asked if they were telling me that I would need to wait. Huff Huff It'll have to be after 10. Fine, just a few minutes. Should I park in the front?
I couldn't get my car into park.... A really cute dude is walking out... Steaming fries. Cold-as-death-buritto.
What was all the commotion about? I apologize for not knowing the Taco Bell items-on-menu & scheduled-time-of-day.
The food is adequate.. Honestly, I think it only taste ok because of fond memories from 7th Ave S Taco Bell. But either way, with my phone covered in this orange fries stuff.... I can say that if it hadn't been for the other location... This experience and rating would have been worse.
Pity. Wait.
I need to find baby Jesus before I continue. This burrito was not prepared with the same love and attention as the fries. Hell, I don't even think they were made with the same MONTH!
This has to be the most disappointing TB encounter since 1983.
Listen, if you don't sell the rice or beans within a 6 month period... THROW THEM OUT. I would go ask for a refund but I am afraid of the backlash. My dog (she's beautiful, huh) won't even eat the burrito.
Nice! Rating reduced. [Atmosphere ranked high: pretty building]
CEO Bell, send them to train at 7th Ave. They know how to do it right. Send refund for this...
Read moreCame in to eat after 9pm but before 10 pm at night. Was happy that the dinner area was open cause I could eat inside and relax after working. Went to the self order kiosk to place my own order. Ordered 2 burrito types and distinctly chose that I wanted to "dine in " on the checkout promp. So I waited a few minutes picking a good table to eat on. They called me up, but low and behold my dine in meal was located in a take out bag. I mentioned to the worker behind the counter that I was a dine in, thinking there wouldn't be no problem to put the meal out of a bag and onto a tray with paper on it so I wouldn't have to eat off the table. But oh no the worker said they had no tray to give. I said no dine in tray? that's right no dine in tray up here. So I took my bag of food and as I was walking to my table to tear open my bag to put my food on cause there was no way I was gonna just eat ny burritos off of there wrappers without something under it. I looked over by one of the dining area trash cans and saw MULTIPLE dirty trays just stacked there that could have been cleaned and used for me. I guess no one wanted to come around and get them. So needless to see I ate my 2 burritos off my torn carry out sack. What an experience huh? Want be back inside to eat ever again, not unless I bring my own paper...
