Attention all pizza lovers ‼️ if you are looking for the best pizza in Birmingham, this is the place to go!! The pizza gives off an authentic vibe, smell, and taste to it, their menu might be small but it sure does pack quite a punch.
Atmosphere: I legit thought this was a buffet at first, it looks strikingly similar to a Cici's pizza but more modern like and the colors don't pop as much here, it's just a regular old pizza place but it's big, huge, lots of seating and of course parking is accessible all around the restaurant.
Service: There was a very sweet young lady at the register, telling us what the most popular pizza was, I believe it was "The Prince" if I'm correct but it's equivalent to an all-meat pizza if you're into that, I asked if water was free and true enough, it was!!! Get your free water cup folks ‼️
Food: Now this will surely turn heads, but there is a menu with not a lot of items but they each have their own identity, their personality and each one will decide whether it might be your favorite or the absolute worst but who am I kidding? I got the "Cool It Down or Cool it Off" whatever it might be named, consists of mostly a cheesy texture, but it isn't all meat by any means, I'm a pizza lover too but that isn't the best pizza but maybe one of the worse ones, others are pretty self-explanatory, Cici's used to be here, why not try Uncle G's , thank you man! 😁👍 Also if you get a pan pizza on a Monday, you get an...
Read moreI had actually heard great things about this place so I was really excited to try it. However, I was very disappointed and I guess the hype is for just the food truck.
There is absolutely no atmosphere at all in the store front. The front register gal just stand there and dances the whole time because there is absolutely no one in there. We were alone at 12pm on a Saturday.
The worst part for me is the price for what you get. We ordered the prince whole pizza it was a little over $30.00 and it’s 4 pieces of pizza. I understand they are on the thick side but come on. I was flabbergasted when my husband brought the pizza to the table and realized we paid that much for such a small pizza. You can literally order Papa John’s XL and have it delivered for less than that, make it make sense that I had to pay that price and I picked it up myself
Reply to owner of Uncle Gs: This is absolutely not how to speak to customers who has had a bad experience at your restaurant. I didn’t ask for cheap pizza or over priced pizza. I asked for reasonably priced pizza. It’s pizza not filet. If people are so willing to pay for this then why were we the only ones in the restaurant. Regardless of how beautiful of a day it is your restaurant should not be completely empty at noon...
Read moreFirstly the food is good, the food from the trucks are good but at the brick and mortar location they have to get that time to table up for lunch time. I get the owner will say something like "we make ours from scratch" blah blah blah but if you want a lunch crowd you can not have folks wafting an hour for a slice of pie and a salad. Maybe have some slices of the most ordered pizza ready or let customers know it is going to be a long wait so they know to call ahead. Secondly the place has all the charm and character of a hospital cafeteria kind of disappointed comparted to there fun social media. Some positives minus the food are it was a clean establishment and the employs were working and being friendly.
Edit for owner. Yeah get out the paint have some fun, you have the framed uncle pics hidden in a hallway get them suckers out so people can see them! Maybe some famous uncle pics. Go for it get tacky like a good pizza joint. "again yall have the best pizza in town I do not mean good pizza joint...
