I dropped my laptop on 10-16 with the geek squad. I was 5 mins late due to a hostage situation happening down the street from their store. The girl was going to make me reschedule because I was 5 mins late, but accused me of being 10 mins late because I spent 5 mins waiting on her to come to the counter. (Absolutely ridiculous to start off with) and thatâs how this whole experience has been. So after a month and multiple phone calls made TO ME saying how my laptop was going to be fixed and gave them the okay to do it even if it was about to cost me $600. This laptop is less than a year old and after a month the laptop was not fixed and I was given it back with more damage than how I left it. The manager already had walked away before I got the laptop back probably because he knew that probably wasnât how I left it.    Read moreShane Baacke was who helped us. My sin has autism and communicating with him can be taxing for anyone. Shane was gratefully calm and patient with him. Listened to everything he had to say and even gave him a few pointers on how not to make the same mistake that cause his computer to crash. Customer service is almost always an afterthought in our "money money money" world. Shane's interaction with my son and I gained a new faithful customer, ESPECIALLY after the techs at the UbreakiFx across the street had my son's computer for about 2 weeks and still couldn't fix it, while his computer was ready for pick-up the very next day. Shane deserves a substantial raise and should be in charge of teaching and training new workers in customer service skills.
