EDIT 6-9-2025 : customer service predictably is much worse now. Some of the staff doesn't even acknowledge your presence more regularly now. Just hands the food to you without even looking at you. I shouldn't be surprised anymore, yet the customer is the one that pays the bills and they are ignored. I understand the pressures of customer service, I've worked it too,, but always made ti.e to at least greet the customer even when you didn't feel like it. Shame it has cone to this..
Customer service here has been mostly good, with a few exceptions where newer employees have needed to be trained in basic customer service practices such as smiling, even when you don't feel like it, greeting customers and thanking them. I don't expect restaurant level service, no one does, but if you provide at least the basic courtesies, this will make 90% of people happy, in my opinion anyways.
EDIT. today went there, was handed my food and not even a thank you. They didn't say anything to me. Again...it doesn't take much to say "thanks, have a good day." Even if you dont mean it.
EDIT: it doesn't seem to be improving much but slowly degrading actually. Last interaction was actually a bit rude, was greeted by very curt frowny-face service.
I make a special point to be respectful, as I am also in a customer facing service job as well. This place usually seems very slow even on busy nights at other nearby fast...
Read moreThe past two weeks have been really difficult. One Sat, at 8 am it accepted an online order. I got there and no one was there. Luckily the app reversed the payment. Today, 3/27, I tried it again. I just asked a question....why sometimes is the chocolate frosti cino in a clear plastic cup and sometimes in a regular large cup? He yelled at me saying I only ordered a small. I said I did not. I said do you want to see my order on the app? He said yes, you are lying. I then got angry....yes I raised my voice.... asking how dare he call me a liar. I demanded to talk to the manager. The manager turned out to be the owner. He yelled at me to keep my voice down and stop yelling at his 15 year old employee. (Isnt there a law they need to be 16). I asked him what is going on with his store....no one working but yet it allowed the order the week before. Being called a liar by the person today. The Owner of this Wendy's in Hopkins MN said, "well then....why do you come back?" I was floored. How can the owner ask a loyal customer why do you come back? I have never been asked that by an owner of an establishment. I am there probably 3-5 mornings a week, especially this month they have half price breakfasts. I woud seriously think before you go to the Hopkins Wendy's. I would not be surprised if it closes with the attitude...
Read moreTerrrrrrrrible. I won't even consume anything from this building in my life/even free. Maybe I will visit a Wendy's in a nearby state. Not worth my time nor my breath, but this establishment has horrible management, I was suppose to pick up pre ordered food and upon arriving the building was locked up, to start, I went to the drive thru to ask for assistance and the heavy set lady was super rude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She made up some excuses and not finding the order and her electronics, I called and informed the party anticipating their meal that the employees didn't want to work on their order and that I had waisted my time and money by traveling there. My delivery employer only compensated me 3 dollars for my gasoline and all of my time that I spent there (an hour parked) when I could have got over twenty picking up real/existing orders that got completed by true resturants; In the end it was cold outside and I wouldn't bother going back there ever again! 0 stars 🌟 if I could.... I would even want free food from those lazy, rude workers; this is probably why Wendy's hardly exists anymore! AND Poor employees are a representation of poor manag----- and training maybe lead by Herbert Devos or some other regional guy. Crying 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢...
