Fantastic Experience at My Local Bar in Hopkins

I just wanted to take a moment to express my absolute love for the incredible experience I have had at my favorite local bar, located in Hopkins. Having been a regular for the past four years, this place has truly become my go-to spot. From the amazing staff to the delicious food, every visit has been nothing short of fantastic.

The staff at this establishment, including Ashley, Amber, Bri, and my bartender, have always gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome and valued. Their exceptional service is especially noteworthy on Wednesdays, when they consistently deliver a memorable experience. Additionally, John, the server, never fails to anticipate my needs, making my visits even more enjoyable. Ashley, in particular, embodies everything I appreciate in a server, as she creates an atmosphere that feels like home.my jock and Ross is always smiling my J smooth is always on point I can go on and on with names the entire team is fantastic

One of the highlights of my visits to this bar has been the mouthwatering chicken wings and quesadillas. The flavors and quality of these dishes are simply outstanding. I especially love the touch of barbecue sauce on the side, which complements the quesadillas perfectly. Moreover, it is worth mentioning that this bar is kid-friendly, making it an ideal spot for families as well.

GLASS IN DRINK UPDATE

**Griffin and I spoke. Griffin assured me that customer safety is a top priority and will address the staff on how situations like this - which are rare, I understand - should be handled in the future. Knowing that this matter was taken seriously and all parties understood the implications of the incident has eased my concerns on this matter. I appreciate Griffin for the reassurance.”

While enjoying our second drink of the evening, I watched my boyfriend start pulling flecks of glass out of his mouth. We alerted our waitress who brought over the manager. We were concerned that the ice may be contaminated - while the staff believed his cup was simply chipped (probably from scooping the ice into it, if that was the case.)

The manager apologized and then said, “You know, these things happen.”

A little too casual response for a patron drinking glass, in my opinion.

They comped our second round of drinks - the one with glass in it that we didn’t finish. We were charged for our meal and the first round of drinks.

The food here is already mediocre. (It’s bar food, you know what you’re getting). And the service has always been lackluster with the exception of a couple waitresses that we haven’t seen in awhile.

We used to dine here regularly. But everything about how this situation was handled was disappointing and will make us rethink our future choices.

I came here a couple weeks ago to meet a friend, we sat and waited 20 minutes or so just for a server to come and tell me I wasn't aloud in the restaurant, then another server pulled her away and we were just sitting looking lost, sat for another ten minutes then decided to just leave and spend our money at one of the neighboring bars that showed a bit more professionalism. I was reading other reviews and noticed someone mentioned this place is racist. I'm not racist but I after reading that I did notice I was the only non white person in the building. I'm not saying they are racist but I can't stop thinking about it. Also many friends ask for recommendations on this street and i have them stay clear of this place. Considering I work in the industry I'm sure many good people work here that has nothing to do with the others that make this place look bad. I highly appreciate the neighboring establishments that are welcoming and treat guest with hospitality, not like they are a burden.
