McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Hopkinsville

I started visiting McAlisters in Huntsville, AL yrs ago and loved it so I was very happy to find out one was being built in Hopkinsville. For a couple dollars more than a combo at a fast food restaurant, McAlisters has much better quality sandwiches, soups, and salads.

I always order via the app and pick up at the drive through. Only 2x have I had a problem with the order (1x the wrong bread was used; 1x onions and peppers werent added to the sandwich), both times, a new sandwich was made correctly and given to me (as opposed to asking for the sandwich back to be remade using the original sandwich) so I ended up with 2 sandwiches, both times. The employees are ALWAYS professional, pleasant, and are first to greet me and say "Thank You" (most fast food places barely even look at me when taking my money or giving me my food). I always tip, even with a to-go order but I usually wait until I recieve my order. Not once has my service been any different or lower quality for not tipping up...

If I could not rate I would, it took them almost a hour for them to get our food out and that was after we went to them and told them we haven’t gotten our food when we noticed people who just sat down that got there food, one of the food runners ask if there anything they could get us and I said we haven’t gotten our food yet and it’s been almost 45 mins and all she said was oh well I’m sorry it’s really busy!! That’s it. We went to the front and told them and they said our food got lost and then we waited 10 more mins for it and it still hasn’t arrived so that’s when we just told them we want it to go and finally they got it out to us within 3 mins. When we got home, our food was completely cold like it was never warm. I normally don’t give bad reviews or complain but was ridiculous. I knew I should have just went to Panera, at least there I know I’ll get my food warm and hot even if it take it...

BIG SHOUTOUT to the girl with red hair that waited on us tonight! Great customer service! First time visiting, my daughter and my dad come in with me to check the place out. Most customers seemed disappointed and have unfriendly faces so obviously there was a wait but hey thats life and we got time. One of 2 people who made this trip good was the lady who took our order. She was well spoken and professional even with the 5 or 6 angry impatient faces glaring at her. We get my daughters drink and we sit down and wait maybe 20 minutes or so. Who i think is a Manager calls our name and shes very polite as well. If properly staffed id give this place 3.5/5 . portions are a little small but the food is adequately flavored. I may go back during the day when...
