Gingers Hide Away LLC — Restaurant in Horicon

First time visiting this place the first week in January. The salad bar was kind of nice; nice selection. Two different kinds of soup at the salad bar also. However, the meal I ordered they were out of. So I chose a ground beef burrito instead. That was the worst burrito I've ever eaten. It was like watered-down sloppy joe meat. The server asked if I wanted sour cream, to which I said yes, but he never said there was a $0.50 charge for this tiny paper cup of sour cream. There were gobs of hardened, greasy orange cheese hiding underneath the outside of the burrito. No cheese on the inside of it, however. Sodas were free refills, but if there was 4 oz of soda in those glasses I'd be surprised. It was all ice. All of our bills were incorrect, and I made it home just in time to lose my entire meal, about a 20-minute ride. I will not be returning....

Walking in it wasn’t busy. Sat down got a water and ordered a panini and chicken tenders/fries. Was asked multiple times if someone took our order. They put food on wrong tables and then noticed it took a while they grumbled about the kitchen. We aren’t at Taco Bell, in my opinion not professional. “Panini” sucked… bad. Chicken tenders are nothing but a giant nugget… seriously. Asked what my order was and she said it was “Panini bread”.. and it i wanted the marks she could put it on the press. We ordered a large deluxe pizza and a cheeseburger and fries for carry out. We had an old fashioned at the bar while we were waiting for our food to be done. The bartender did a good job but the old fashioneds weren’t great. And for $8, they should be awesome. The soda tasted odd. While sitting there, the owner wasn’t the nicest to the staff. We got our food home and realized the toppings on our pizza were almost raw. We had to bake it more in our oven. Hardly any sauce on it. The French fries were pretty raw on the inside. The burger was ordered well done and was raw on the inside as well. This is our second time there and second...
