I'll love to share the pros first then the cons after as there are many cons after all. My husband and I tried the restaurant and then went back again that's a plus in my book. (I'll actually include photos of both visits.) My husband really loved it here and that matters the most to me. I know he isn't picky and this place is great for that. Though I do enjoy that you can sort of choose/build what you want too so you can make it unique and to your liking. The food is 5 starts no doubt, flavor, temperature. Price is maybe 3-4 stars as it can be a tad pricey but if it is once and a while type of deal no harm. It was delicious and filling. They also have snacks there like turtle chips or in case you just want their yummy mandoo because believe me that is super good and my husband and I bought extra the second time to share. My first time trying it I wasn't the biggest of fan but I learned. I did not ask if I could taste anything first but if you want to try asking I totally would at least like the noddle's or sauces. I am not the biggest fan of the noddle's myself but the following time I went I changed it to just rice, cabbage, veggies and the yummy chicken. So you learn and make change is what I say. So that's enough of the good I am gonna share some of the bad now and maybe it is not something that will really bother you but I felt super bad myself. If you follow my reviews you know I am a plump/heavy gal and I do enjoy eating at the restaurants but this is just not one I could enjoy. I do not like sitting at high tops at all. It's just super uncomfortable. I thought luckily they have the smaller chairs in the middle but nope. NOPE. NO. I couldn't stand the chairs maybe they are durable but the feeling of them sliding down is a no, no for me. It scared me and I started to tear up a bit. My husband was like let's go its fine but I wanted him to enjoy his food in the restaurant. None the less we did not stay inside. We had to eat in our car. There is a bench outside but it was super cold that evening. That's really my only negative is the seating is not comfy to me, and maybe the price is a little much but I can look past the second.

Read moreAmazing food & AMAZING service. Haven’t been in a while but last time I was there, decided to be a bit bold and ask for my spice level higher than what I normally do, instantly regretted it. Wasn’t the foods fault, just my own, and I just couldn’t stomach the strong flavor of the chile, it overpowered everything. So I walked back in ashamed, and asked if there was any way they could make a replacement bowl of some kind, I would still pay of course if necessary, or perhaps get it discounted. I explained to them what happened and that I’d hardly touched my food, because I really wasn’t trying to take advantage in any way, or get two meals for the price of one. In fact I’ve never done something like this at any restaurant before, I just love the food there so much I couldn’t walk out without getting food I could properly enjoy(yes, even if it meant paying for another bowl). The man who helped me was super understanding and asked what kind of bowl I got and remade the bowl for me for free, while telling me to keep the other bowl if I had any family or anyone that would want it instead, which I really appreciated, cuz I mean, if he had asked I would have chucked the bowl in the trash no hesitation, because the last thing I want is for them to think I’m lying or trying to take advantage(since I’m sure that’s something food service workers already deal with too often). Super super understanding & helpful staff and I walked out an extremely satisfied customer. All I got to say is be mindful to your spice tolerance when choosing a level(not that the bowl was too spicy, it was more of a flavor issue for me) Shoutout to that man,...
Read moreFirst time having anything Korean and my wife was excited to have the first ever CupBop here in Texas!! Upon arriving the seating area is rather small, could hold roughly 24 people or so, however it wasn’t an issue. Upon ordering our meal, the staff were friendly and helpful. The pricing wasn’t to much however pricing in restaurant compared to online was $2 more online.
I like the fact that you can pick your heat level or sweet level depending on what you like. I went with the cupbop pick two meats which I chose the Korean beef and fried chicken! My meal was definitely lacking in the beef portion compared to my wife’s cup. The spice was on point, I got an 8 and it was definitely delicious and hot. The noodles look like jelly however they also tasted pretty good. You also have rice and cabbage, which next time I will be substituting cabbage for additional rice.
Overall it was definitely a good vibe and the food was delicious and amazing! I definitely think y’all should try it! I definitely will be returning and see how the food tastes with more rice...
