We had a return to make 12/5/24 and “a certain cashier #2 at the Burlington store around midday at the Eastlake location in El Paso Tx was disrespectful and unprofessional, she violated my privacy rights as a customer by speaking loud of the item I was trying to return, almost as if she was setting an example with me to others by speaking kinda loud & grinning about my return. She even told the manager a few people away & repeated various times what I was returning! (Intimates) she used a different word and said it wasn’t returnable! when clearly we were told when we purchased it, we could return it as long as it was still with tags and time frame. But the customers around could definitely hear what was being returned! She told The manager across a few people about the items & he (Ruben) didn’t correct her on maintaining a level of privacy for respect of the customer, (me) I feel this incident was a Violation of My Privacy as a Customer. If we don’t share PIN numbers, Credit card numbers, emails nor SS# with the public, what made her think she could share my purchase with the customers in the area! A...
Read moreStood in like for about 20 min, with only 2 registers open. All of their outfits in the boys section were ALL missing the shirts/shorts that went along with it. We ended up grabbing one of them, since all we really needed was the Hawaiian shirt for our son. We get to the register and the cashier tries to give us a discount and calls the manager, the manager then tells him they can’t be selling items missing shorts/shirts which makes no sense since that’s all they had in the boys section. I talked to the manager and right off the bat, she was talking and moving her neck along with her words, giving us sass and attitude. 🙄 saying she can’t sell/discount those items, which is fine but that’s all you have in your store. So then why are people grabbing items, standing In line, only to be told you can’t sell or even discount items you have on your floor. She proceeded to say they are trying to work as much as they can, that they are short staffed which honestly is understandable given her attitude. I wouldn’t want to work with her as my...
Read moreOn 6/2 around 8:00pm I decide to shop at Burlington to look for a makeup chair for my 15yr. old daughter. Hunting for the chair for 3 days going to multiple stores was a task, and there it was the perfect chair at Burlington by my house. I asked my daughter to roll the chair up to the front desk to put it on hold since it didn’t fit in shopping cart. Once we finished shopping we went to pay and asked Ruben for the chair because we didn’t visually see it in the front desk. He went to the back and brought a chair that wasn’t the one we put on hold. My daughter’s eyes started watering. I asked him what happened where was the chair and he began his response that the lines were long and he was busy ringing up customers and blaming my daughter that why didn’t she just push the chair around or put it in the shopping cart or she could have walked to the back of the cashwrap were the cashier rings up! I am shocked and disbelief from his response. I will never shop at this...
