Golden Dragon Restaurant — Restaurant in Horn Lake

I have to say this is a mixed review. Their food is “ok” for the most part, with some dishes better than others. Their portions for the price is NOT worth it. We order “Large” portions, which really aren’t large. There are too many other restaurants in the area with better food, pricing, and portions. They are fairly quick with your order and always polite, so that’s a plus. The only reason we do continue to go back is because for some reason (I haven’t been able to understand why) it is my son’s favorite place ro order from. So, when it is his turn to decide our family game night dinner, he will usually choose here. It is greasy, it is hot, it is overly sauced just like most Chinese places down here. The vegetables aren’t over cooked like some, so that’s a plus. They can be stingy with the proteins in your order and their rice is pretty bad. It tastes like dirty water. Overall impression? Meh, it’s ok if you’re wanting “typical Chinese delivery food”. I just hope you’re not that hungry, or picky...

I love Golden Dragon because their food is always good and hot and ready on time! My order is typically correct BUT, they need to stop hiring these people off the street to answer the phone and take orders. Normally, I just call and the same lady answers, I give my usual order and phone number and in about 10 mins I’m picking up my order. Every so often a newbie answers with an attitude and I have to go so much in detail and have her repeat it back for accuracy and I pick my order up with no confidence it’ll be right. Half the time it’s not. 3 times in a row I’ve gotten this particular lady and I may have to take a break from Golden Dragon until she’s passed on through.

I had to cancel my DoorDash, due to the inclement weather. I called them and stated that I DID NOT have to pay for the food with DoorDash already paying them. I drove in the most horrid weather to get this food. JUST FOR THEM TO FORCE ME TO PAY ONCE AGAIN!! I called them for a refund afterwards and THEY ADMITTED TO MAKING ME PAY TWICE! What kind of business are these people running! I hope they get SHUT DOWN! For the way they treated me so unfairly. Manager gave me the run around to AVOID FIXING THE PROBLEM THEY CAUSED!
