Hands down worst service ever!! After waiting over 15 minutes to even place an order (thanks to the ridiculous double order system that feels like a perpetual traffic jam), we were asked to pull up to wait for our fries. After 30 minutes and 6 cars behind us had left, we had to take one of the kids out of the car, into the cold (defeating the whole point of a drive thru) to use the restroom. It was disgusting by the way! After cleaning that toilet seat (I deserve a paycheck now right? $15 an hour lol) and hunting down toilet paper in another stall, I walked out past the counter, noticed over a dozen employees behind the counter.. even though I'd assumed there must only be one person working to take this long.. Get back to the car, still no food! Once the clock hit 40 minutes waiting on fries, I decided to get my money back and went inside - they were finally bringing my food. If not for kids waiting almost an hour for food, I'd have refused it. When I asked the 'manager' for a general managers # so I could let them know the pathetic work ethic of this crew, she offered no apology whatsoever, yet actually had the audacity to try to justify my wait by stating the c02 machine was out...considering the only drinks I had ordered were the kids apple juices, that had been getting warm in my car for the past 30 minutes, this was quite infuriating. I understand fully that fast food has its issues, but this was the most pathetic excuse for customer service I've witnessed. If employees of my business performed this atrociously, I'd rather shut down than pay them to...
Read moreI went through the drive thru and the young man that was at window 1 taking orders overcharged me by not correctly ringing up my order so i approached window 2 and explained to young man 2 and he just shook his head ( im not sure if he even heard me over his earphones in his ears) So i handed him my receipt and said i was overcharged and explained to him and he just shut the window and a few minutes later the night manager approached the window with my receipt explaining that it was correct. So i explained to him i had two of the same meal deals so they should have been rang up the same however one of them was rang up individually per item. He said ok pull up to window 3 while i figure this out. I sat outside at this window for over 10 minutes. Manager finally came outside and gave me $2 back in cash. Explaining he was trying to figure it out. Everyone was confused by something simple. So i explained that my order should have been this exact amount with the correct taxes i was charged X amount. The difference was this extra item for X amount. So my correct change should have been $2.19+taxes which is totaling $2.34 (MS Taxes) . Blank stares so i politely took the $2 and thanked him and drove home with my already ice cold food. Now i will say i really like the night manager, hes very kind and you can tell he takes pride in his job. As for the training and the other employees....that area needs a huge improvement. Yet another disappointed trip to the already out the way McDonald's...
Read moreWe’ve come to this McDonald’s often. Yesterday my wife used the mobile app and just as she was getting in the drive through line it told her she couldn’t go there, and it directed her to a store 10 miles away.
Should have taken that advice today, too. We again used the app, and this time I was with her. We got to the window to get our receipt, and the poor girl there looked mortified. “We can’t fill your order.” “Why not?” I asked. “We can’t make your shake.” Oh. Shake machine is down, which might cause a minor eruption at home with my autistic kid but ok, he can deal. That should never mean they can’t fill the rest of our $50 order. “Just substitute a Diet Coke and we will be fine.” We pick up our order and start driving off, and discover they not only didn’t give us a Diet Coke in place of the shake, they took that whole meal off (a McDonaldland Meal). The rest of the order was ok. I drove back to the store and went in. The counter manager was confused; he wasn’t sure what to do either. The window manager stated that our order had rung out and they would have to ring us up again for the $15 meal we were charged for and didn’t get. Double charged? I waited about 5 minutes and finally got a bag, which had just the sandwich, no fries, no Diet Coke. No limited edition toy.
Sigh. C+ for effort. I’ll say this, they were extremely busy, but nobody should get the deer in the headlights look when they are ok with a straight...
