My food was very bland. Really no taste to the chicken stripe. They had no chicken wings. The woman that took our order seemed more interested in getting things ready for closing I'm assuming. She was basically sweeping as she was taking our order. We did make reservations in advance. We actually went for my 50th birthday. Kinda bucket list for me and my best friend whom flew in from Washington state. I wanted to buy some trinkets. When I asked the lady who took our order she told me to go to the front. Everything was turned off up front. Lights n everything. When I went back to let her know she was still sweeping the bar floor and acted like she didn't care to help. Another lady that works there, ( red shirt, curly hair) actually came from behind the bar and took me back to the front to purchase some keep sakes. Crazy to think that the original person taking our order would not want to make extra sales or be attentive enough to our table being that it was a birthday and we did tell her some of us flew in for this. When I asked about the history of the establishment she acted as if she was annoyed and made a sparky comment. (NO...NO ONE WAS KILLED HERE)! I will say the upstairs was kind of cool. Hopefully in the future she will make people feel more...
Read moreWas great to see the house used in the movie. This is not where the actually events took place. It was confusing trying to find the building from the Google Maps directions, but we made it. It is in a small town. We parked in the gravel lot right beside Antlers Inn. Inside, it was not very cool. The indoor seating was cramped, but, the waitress was nice. There's a small bathroom as well as a tiny area for t-shirt souvenirs. (PLEASE ADD SHOT GLASSES TO THE LIST)!! Some of our party couldn't go upstairs to see the dummy props. All in all, loved seeing actually posters from the movies...
Read moreI didn't realize they only served food at certain times while they are open. I went to get lunch but was informed they were in between lunch and dinner hours. I ordered a drink and was a little out of by the staffs attitude he wasn't rude but he also wasn't welcoming or friendly if that makes sense. If you're a horror fan it's cool to see but make sure you have other things planned in the area cause it's kind of a let down. I plan to go back and give it another try, hopefully try the food and maybe change my review. Others have had good experiences but mine was simply just...
