Good Afternoon Google Family. Mom and I visited today on this Motivational Monday, August 26, 2024. We ordered an early lunch since this place only serves breakfast and lunch. They open from 6 am to 3 pm every day. Before they were open 24/7. But since COVID, they have decreased hours. Mom and I arrived around 12:30 pm and of course after we ordered, we visited the rest rooms. It was nice and clean. When we were surveying the menu, we looked for broiled tilapia and we were unable to locate it. I asked our server about it and she came back and said they had tilapia. Mom ordered her trusty broiled tilapia with mashed potatoes without gravy and applesauce. I ordered broiled salmon filet with asparagus and peas and carrots. I must say that everything was good. Our server was Melanie and she seemed nice. Our food arrived so quickly. I also ordered Cream of Mushroom soup and took the salad for a take out meal. My mom never eats her food that comes with the meal. We enjoyed our meal and I really enjoyed the cream of mushroom soup. I love any soup that is cream of. I asked for extra saltine crackers and Melanie obliged. They only give you one. I was very disappointed that we did not receive desserts with our meal. Most diners that we visit, the desserts come with the meal and we always take it home. I would have given this diner five stars but I decided no, no dessert, no 5 stars. They have dessert, you just have to pay for it. I really liked this diner though. It reminds me of a diner in the Northeast. the Country Club Diner. The building's architecture is similar to the Country Club Diner. I am hoping that they will change their policies and include dessert with the meal, the specials. Good night Google family and don't forget to work out!!! There were a lot of nice patrons here eating at the...

First-time visit. We ordered pancakes, as suggested by the waitress. She claimed many customers come here just for the pancakes. Unfortunately, I don't know what those customers were thinking, these were some of the worst pancakes I've ever had in my entire life. The were small, slightly under cooked and cakey on the inside and had zero flavor what-so-ever. The waitress was some-what friendly, but never came back to check on us, unless we flagged her down. Then as we were trying to enjoy our awful breakfast, she began sweeping the floors with a broom and dustpan, so she'd be able to leave right away. As I went to pay my check, I had to wait for 2 waitstaff to cash out their tips with the cashier. Upon paying, I requested a Military discount, to be told, they don't offer any discounts. No apology, just a cold statement. She couldn't wait until I paid, so they could all leave and go home. In closing, I definitely do-not recommend this place to anyone! They do-not support the US Military, which is appalling and disgraceful behavior. It's also appalling, they don't offer Senior Citizen discounts, as most of their customers are elderly individuals. My suggestion, go elsewhere! Have a...

Great for inexpensive food. Friendly staff and good food portions. Clean bathrooms as well. Seems bigger then it actually is because of a mirrored wall. The parking lot is more than adequate. There is even a side exit that leads out to Maple avenue. It's a safer option to leave from, especially since it has a street light access to 611 (Easton Rd).

I've enjoyed the endless salad bar at times but I feel it could be better. They do have kinda Greek flair to the selections. Which is nice but I'm sure it's not everyone's favorite. They do have a lunch countertop where you can sit by yourself if you so choose.

Aside from the main room for eating there is a side room with more tables and booths. Plenty of room so normally you shouldn't need to make a reservation (not that they offer that anyway).

They do make fresh pastries on site, and there is a fairly good selection of items to choose from. The...

Excellent diner, open all night, salad bar, varied menu. By all rights the food shouldn't be excellent, but it's pretty remarkable. The salad bar included things like bread pudding, feta, dolmades, steamed shrimp and a very good crab salad. We visited three times while visiting the area, and sampled across the menu without disappointment, even venturing toward dishes I normally avoid at a diner, like turkey (legit carved bird, not loaf), salmon (my wife declared it one of the best she's had lately) and the meatball parmigiana sandwich. There's a mildness to the flavor choices here ... The turkey gravy isn't very salty, the red sauce tasted mostly of tomato (only gently of herbs or salt) but I can respect that; it's easier to add salt than to remove it. The coffee is good. The service is good. There may be a wait during peak mealtimes. This is a good place.

Best meal I've ever had at Lancer's. The bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich was amazing. The bagel was toasted but still soft on the inside, and the bacon was crispy. The hashbrowns we ordered in a speed run were out quick, and the plating of hashbrowns we got on the side of our entree was perfectly crunchy on top and the right amount of moisture in the "meat" of the hashbrowns. Update: Went again. Had to review again. Whoever is on the bagel sandwich making staff (lol) outdid any previous bagel I've had here. Asked for it to be toasted, with extra egg, bacon, and cheese. Wanted my bacon well done, it was perfect. Seriously. Perfect bagel sandwich. A great crunch, right amount of moisture, etc. Hashbrowns were a bit too well done, but it's what I asked for, and the bagel was so good I kind of forgot I had other food in front of me. I'll be back!
