Las Frida's Mexican Kitchen — Restaurant in Horsham Township

Read a review before we went to try this that said they were from the West (assumed they meant South West) and thought this was the best Mexican they'd ever had... Will def have to bring my family from AZ here to see if they think it beats their favorite place! We really enjoyed our food!! My son gave the rice two thumbs up with a dramatic passing out from enjoyment - and that's surprising! He loved his taco so much that he ate just the meat out of the second one when he was getting full - also very surprising - he normally just picks at the chips. And that wasn't because the chips weren't good - the chips and salsa were excellent! The salsa for the table was not spicy but had so much flavor!!! Def my favorite salsa. My husband had a chicken chorizo burrito topped with chorizo. He was very happy with the contents and amount of chorizo! He did say for his preference he would ask for the cheese sauce that's poured over the top to be on the side next time. He wasn't sure he liked that. It reminded me a bit of a bechamel (I'm pretty sure it had flour in it). I got a burrito bowl and switched out the rice and beans for some additional veggies... Kinda combining two of the burritos on the menu for my bowl - veggie and a chicken one below it. It was excellent! We will def be going back here...

Beautiful restuarant! My first experience and the food was incredible. The smell of the grilling will suck you in door. Authenticity cooked and fast but hot and fresh. I had the loaded fries, chicken fajitas and companion had chicken enchiladas entree. Fries were enough for four. Fajitas came with four tortillas but could feed six! Wait staff very friendly and kind. I had unsweetened ice tea I was able to bring home along with caramel filled churros. Came with a dipping cream I never had before. Delicious!! Usual sides of mexican rice, guacamole, lettuce, chopped tomatoes, cheese, sour cream and salsa Verde. Though the fajitas came with sauteed green peppers and onions, one sliver of red pepper was mixed in and I would have loved more....but this was an excellent experience for early Friday dinner and place filled up quickly and take out was fiercely gaining momentum. Las Fridas offers AMAZING and very authentic Mexican cuisine. I can't say enough positive compliments about this family owned restaurant. Las Fridas offers a wide variety of choices from delicious pork tamales and homemade chips w/ sensational salsa. I feel in love w/ my suadero tacos w/ avocado sauce. If you need a refreshing, almost tart/ not sweet drink- order the tamarindo on ice or BYOB! I remain BLOW AWAY by the Flan. I can only describe this Flan as HEAVENSENT-fresh, creamy, sweet and succulent w/ a mouthwatering caramel sauce that I'll be dreaming about until we meet again. The atmosphere was causal and very clean. Our server and the entire kitchen staff were very warm and welcoming. I'll be back to try everything on the menu... especially to...
