A new spot I wanted to try based of a friends recommendation. I like the colors and overall vibe of the place. I’ve been twice now so my review is based off of two different visits. I’d say the food was a little pricey for the amount you get. I ordered the breakfast tacos the first time and the breakfast sandwhich the second. It was $9 for a bagel with an egg and some arugula. No sides just the bagel sandwich. I don’t like the tip options they give you when you pay with a credit card. There really is no service other that someone will bring your food and drop it to your table. The tip options are 20% 15% 10% and no tip if I remember right. Not sure why there are even options since there really is no service. I’d rather pay $10 for that bagel sandwich instead of being guilt tripped into giving a tip. It’s happening everywhere and also why I started using cash again. I tip if there is service but even the people at McDonald’s will bring your food 10 feet to your table and not ask for a tip on the machine when you swipe your card. I’m always worried if I don’t tip someone is going to spit in my food or worse. So I rated service a 1 just because there is no service. You even have to bring your empty dishes from your table and put them away when you’re done. So it’s really like just being at home except I didn’t have to slice a bagel in half, spread some cream cheese on it and fry an egg. French toast looks really good but both times I’ve been the person I was with ordered French toast and ran out of syrup. I think maybe twice as much syrup would be perfect. People were friendly and there are two dog friendly outdoor seating areas with a little play area for kids. Like I said it’s a cool place with lots of upper middle class vibes if you like that sort...

Read moreGreat neighborhood place for breakfast/lunch and coffee. They have a little kids sections with games and books which makes it easy if you have kids. It’s order at the register vs a sit down.
Once we walked in they did greet us but there was an awkward interaction. There was a person that was making some coffees and seemed like she might have been either the owner or manager but wasn’t in the best of moods - understand the place was busy but she was being a bit rude to some of the employees which made it awkward for us when ordering as we could hear the whole thing first hand. I feel more bad for the employees. Her mood was a bit different once the orders calmed down.
The campfire cold brew was good it’s basically a mocha cold brew with a vanilla cold foam and graham cracker crumble on top. It was pretty good.
The french toast was also good. Comes with 2 toasts and some whipped butter on top and side of berries.
The lox bagel by the looks of it looks tasty. It had a healthy filling of smoked salmon, cream cheese, onions, dill, capers and cucumbers. It’s quite filling plus the arugula salad makes it worth the price. The flavors are ok - it’s not the best or the worst lox bagel you will have but it does the job so...
