Spring Street Studios — Attraction in Houston

I needed plants for my new vivarium and am so excited that Houston Frogs opened a satellite store here. They are really the best place for dart frogs and supplies.

This hobby is fun and Houston Frogs is always willing to answer questions. We are lucky to have a few options for vivarium supplies in the Houston area. I've had bad luck shipping springtails and isopods so I'm only buying locally right now.

I'm on the south side and driving to Spring was not am easy option for me. Spring Street Studios seems like a weird place for frogs but our vivariums really are a naturalist work of art. So it's a perfect fit in my eyes.

My air plants are doing great and I'm looking forward to getting more tropical plants for my dart frog enclosure redo. I made the mistake of buying from another place and am not at all happy with how it looks. I think they have improved their setups since I bought mine but I've found it really easy...

This place is simply an amazing experience for those who love theaterand art! Attended the Topdog Underdog theater play. We travel the Houston areas the see theater plays and concerts. We are familiar with the cast of this play and just knew that we were in for a treat.... and we were captivated by the performance of Timothy Eric "Lincoln" and Brandon Morgan "Booth". This play was one of the best we've seen. The theater it self was cozy, clean and welcoming with a friendly group of patrons in attendance along with a welcoming staff. The art galleries are an added bonus. Beautiful art from local artist along the walls will draw you in as you wait for the show to start. I have been here many times for different reasons. I love the fact that it's not just studios, but an artist gallery as well. You can find art hanging on all walls of this 2-story building. Most are for sale and go towards helping someone make a living doing what they love. It's extremely clean and usually decently quiet. I've never had any issues with my truck being messed with (knock on wood) when leaving it in the lot or the side of the building for up to hours on end.
