*Updated (changed rating from 1 star to 3 stars) : Home Depot is sending me a $50 GC for the inconvience of my appliances being rescheduled, if I cancel my order than I lose out on the gift card.
Disclaimer: This review is not specific to this store location. While I have visited this location personally and had no issues, this review is focused solely on my appliance delivery experience.
My partner and I ordered a washer and dryer set from Home Depot on April 17th, with delivery scheduled for Friday, April 25th. Note: Home Depot did offer earlier delivery dates—starting as soon as Wednesday, April 23rd—but we specifically chose Friday to align with both of our schedules.
We opted to purchase from Home Depot primarily because they offered a quicker delivery than Best Buy, Lowes, and even Costco. However, that changed when I received a text saying our delivery had been rescheduled to May 1st.
I reached out to an associate via text for clarification but was given no clear explanation. The blame was placed on the manufacturer, which seemed odd because prior to our purchase, we spoke with a Home Depot associate who told us the appliances were stored in Home Depot’s own warehouse (we had asked if there was going to be an impact on the appliances because of the tarrifs), so I’m not sure how a manufacturing issue could be the cause—unless there’s something I’m missing.
Overall, I’m frustrated with the lack of transparency and communication around why our delivery was delayed. When purchasing appliances from Home Depot, it’s not clearly stated that deliveries are handled by a third-party service. So the fault never falls on Home Depot if your appliance does not get delivered on the date mentioned on THEIR webiste - seems...
Read moreRacial profiling, by loss prevention. I was a loyal customer of this store until yesterday when I was racially profiled by a prevention team member. I don't think I did anything out of the ordinary or to provoke suspicion I was there to steal anything. I did what I do every time I go there to pick up materials for jobs. I had my employee with me and as soon as we walked into the store we started being followed by an African American man. we both noticed him as he followed us all around the store as we picked up a piece of wood, a can of Killz paint, a can of grout and a threshold to finish a job. I had parked by the Garden entrance and as we were paying for the items there he was acting as he was a customer (as if we didn't already know he was a following us) as I was waiting for my receipt, my employee walked away pushing the cart towards the truck, then the loss prevention guy pounced at my employee and grabbed the basket and made him walk back to the register, to what I asked what was going on and my receipt was printing. I understand my employee may have done something wrong by not waiting until I had the receipt in my hand, however, the fact that he had already followed us all over the store and ANTICIPATED FOR US TO STEAL is what I think is wrong about what he did, as I told the store Manager on a call after the incident, He racially profiled me because there were plenty of white and black customers walking around the store doing the same thing I was doing, but he did single me out because I am Hispanic and I was dressed like I cant afford a can of paint and a piece of wood. this experience was so disturbing that it has kept me up all night as it is 3 in the morning and I found it necessary to...

The aisles are meticulously organized, and even when facing a complex issue, you know the solution—or at least the parts to build it—are within those orange walls. For the DIY enthusiast, their commitment to education is invaluable. The staff, particularly those working the specialty desks (like paint, electrical, or plumbing), are often seasoned professionals who offer genuine, project-saving advice . This guidance is a huge competitive advantage, transforming a confusing shopping trip into a successful start to a project. The integrated shopping experience is also outstanding. I frequently use the Buy Online, Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) option, which is incredibly efficient. It allows me to research and order exact materials from home, and then just swing by the dedicated service desk for quick collection.
