First off I been coming here since 2018. The nail quality has always been hit or miss but this last service was horrible and my last visit to this place. Going in, I already knew I wanted an inexpensive pedicure because Im going on vacay soon and plan on getting my feet done again right before the trip. So immediately I told the lady no shelac, just regular. She already starts giving me the "shelac is better" speech, that's when I flat out tell her I want regular. She mumbled something under her breath and started to work. From then on I could tell the quality of the work was going to be bad. She tried to upsale me when I picked a $35 pedicure and again I declined. She starts to hastly do the work, finishes, puts the sandals on, and tells me we are done and rushes me to pay. When I'm about to pay, I take a look at my toe nails and they were horrible. Not aligned, not very well cleaned up, and the corner of pinky toe nail looked chipped off for some reason. Also the nail polish itself didnt dried good. So I ask her to fix the areas I pointed out. she starts blaming my long pants for messing up the nail polish, but I told her if she had waited for them to dry out properly and not try to quickly rush me out, the nail polished would've fine. I told her that I am paying her for a service, its not like Im getting a free pedicure. She had an attitude from then on. When she was fixing my pinky, she tooked the nail file and harshly filed the nail so much that my skin was filed off too. She cleaned up and redid the polish on my big toe nail, and eventhough we waited for the nail polish to dry off... the polish itself still looked warped, so im assuming the quality of the nail polish is the problem. This was my first time getting a cheaper pedicure, I always get expensive ones to treat myself, and its just sad to get treated this way just because I dont want to spend alot this time around. I still tipped her $10 because its not about the money. This is not a situation where im trying to get out of tipping her. I just believe that regardless of what type of pedicure I get (whether its a $30 or $80+ pedicure), I should get good service for it.

I asked for the “Classic Spa Pedicure” for my husband and I after looking at the menu of options and handed the list back over to the manicurist. The manicurist then kept repeating “Number 2” at me. Since the Classic Spa Pedicure is the second one on the list, I assumed that she was confirming what I already asked for so I responded “Yes? The Classic, number 2.” (I no longer had the list in front of me for reference). During the pedicure though, she started using wax - and I didn’t remember that being part of the package I asked for. Afterwards I checked the list at the front, and realized she’d been a bit shady and got me to get the slightly more expensive package, the “#2 Paraffin Wax Pedicure” which is the third option listed, when I had clearly asked for the Classic to begin with. Aside from that, my pedicure and accompanying manicure were also just rushed. My husband started his pedicure when I began with my manicure first and then pedicure, and my pedicure was done just a few minutes after his. The finished nail polish for my manicure ended up “bubbly” - which typically happens when you apply a new coat too quickly or add too much nail polish at a time. One of my fingers is also painfully swollen now as she cut the skin in the top corner of one of my nails. Overall I felt it wasn’t worth bringing it up at the time and making a big deal about it, but I’m disappointed with the experience and I would not go back. Putting two stars instead of one because my husband at least liked his pedicure.

Overpriced, Poor Quality, and Not What I Asked For!!! I went to Height Nail Spa on July 11 around 4:30 PM, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. I came in with a clear request I asked for square-shaped nails with a specific design but I walked out with basic white French tips, and the shape wasn’t even close to what I wanted. The square shape I asked for was completely off, and the overall shaping looked uneven and rushed. To make matters worse, the underside of my nails was left dirty, and there was no attention to detail. For this kind of service, being charged $85 felt like a total rip-off. I expected better professionalism, cleaner work, and to actually receive what I asked for. I won’t be returning, and I would not recommend Height Nail Spa if you care about quality or getting your money is worth. If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. This was hands-down the worst nail salon experience I’ve ever had. From poor communication to completely ignoring what I asked for, everything about my visit was frustrating and disappointing.

Let me start this review by saying this rating in no way reflects Linn or Helen. I have been coming here every 3-4 weeks consistently for over 2 years and they both are amazing and deserve 5 out 5 stars.

However, I have finely had enough of the consistent rudeness and lack of professionalism of another employee here.

I always get dip powder nails. Without fail, every time I come here when I am looking through samples picking a color, another employee (lady with top of shoulder length hair, blonde highlights with dark roots, and red glasses) always comes over and takes some of the samples from me as I am looking at them. She “asks” if she can take them, but only asks as she is already grabbing them away from me similar to someone who knocks on a door and flings it open before someone can say come in.

Every single visit this happens. Also note, she is the only other employee here that has EVER done this or taken samples from me while I was looking at them.

During my appt this past Thursday evening, she crossed a line even further though. I was looking through the samples, and she came and took some away from me as usual. I continued to look at the ones she left behind. A few minutes later she returned and pointed at the one IN MY HANDS and said she needed THAT ONE. I said I was still looking at it and had already picked two from that sample set I was deciding between and still looking through the rest on that set.

She insisted she had to have that one NOW and instructed me to take a picture of the ones I like and she would bring it back later to me and I could find the ones I liked again. I said, I’m sorry I’m still looking through this one. She proceeded to stick her hand out waiting for me to hand it to her. I tried to keep looking through it, but she just kept standing there with her hand out staring at me. I felt extremely uncomfortable so I took a picture of the ones I liked from the sample set so far and gave it to her. I sat and waited while she used it for another customer delaying starting my soak off because the colors I wanted to choose from were on that sample set she took from me. To make things even worse, when she brought it back, she brought 3 total sample sets and instead of handing me the one she knew I was originally looking at, she just dumped all 3 down on tray leaving me to dig through them to try to figure out which one was the one I was previously looking at.

First of all, I don’t understand why a salon of this size does not have multiple full sets of samples for a popular service. Second, this lady is just consistently rude. I feel rushed each and every time I am here picking a color because I know it is only a matter of time before she comes to take samples from me. Tonight she went over the line taking a sample directly from my hands as if getting the appointment started for a customer that arrived after me was more important than getting mine started.

Please get enough sample sets to support the amount of business you do and I highly suggest to get this lady one of her own so she can stop being so rude to customers that are not her...

I have been a repeat customer for the last 6 months at Heights Nail Spa but after the way I was treated today I will be looking for a new salon. I came in to get my dip powder and toe nail polish removed - both were done by this salon 3 weeks ago. The girl running the counter asked me twice if I wanted any other services and I said no not today. With her subtle attitude I could tell she was bothered that this was such a small service. Then when the nail tech came up she also seemed bothered that all I wanted was to take these off. Their body language and eye contact while they spoke about it made it seem like this was a problem. So the nail tech looks at me and asks me twice if I'm sure that I dont want any other services and what kind of polish I might want. Finally I said do yall require me to get my nails done after removal or something? And the girl running the desk says with a sour look on her face "no it's just unusual." No guys. This is not unusual at all. Then the nail tech chimes in and goes "and that will be $10" First of all the nail tech has never told me how much a service costs. That is done at the end of service at the checkout counter. Second of all I have done this at this salon before and never been charged. So I interpreted this as the woman wanted to make sure she was getting a tip for this 5 minute job. So I just said fine. But I would have tipped her anyway. So the nail tech removes the dip powder without saying a word to me. Then she conveniently forgets that I asked to take my toenail polish too. I was so upset at this point that I decided I'll go home and do it myself. It was very obvious she did not want to do this.

I will say that all the other nail techs I've been serviced by have always been sweet, polite, and friendly. They also do a fantastic job on nails. And yes the salon is clean and quick which I appreciate. So this was just an off day I suppose but it was enough for me to...
