Antojitos Hondureños Latin (Food Truck) — Restaurant in Houston

All we wanted was some chicken tacos. The lady said they only had a chicken dish available that comes with 3 plates, once she said 26 dollars I about gasped! But it was too late already, we had been waiting in line 10 minutes so just went with it. When I tell you they had us waiting 45+ minutes In the sun it's not a joke. No chairs or sun cover to help us out. Its 2 PM in Texas in late july... We walked back to the car several times to escape heat.we would have been more inclined to wait in the car not thinking someone could just up and take our order without us noticing had we recieved a reciept. Food wasn't horrible but it was definitely drowned in this sauce and cabbage mixture on all the plates. I feel like we paid most of the money for that stuff and it all went into the trash cause we ate what little food was below it. Not worth the money or...

I purchased the stuffed fried plantain. My idea was from a previous dish I saw that this would be a smashed plantain with a filling, however, that was not the case. The sliced fried plantain was topped with ground beef and cabbage in some sort of sweet tomato sauce. Although the plantain was delicious the rest of the dish had a combination of a sweet and salty taste. I personally would not buy it again but I would definitely try...

I’ve been eating here since my childhood and I can say the food here is consistently delicious. If you want to try authentic Honduran food this is the place to go. The prices can seem steep, but when you get a taste of your food that will all melt away. Every last cent spent will...
