This is one of the best things in Houston! They only serve one thing: Bun Bo Hue. There are also a variety of drinks to choose from (tea, smoothies, etc).

When you walk in you'll be seated and asked if you want a small or large. (The large is HUGE!) Within minutes you'll be served your steaming bowl of Bun Bo Hue and a plate with your garnishes. The garnish plate includes chopped green cabbage, chopped purple cabbage, lime wedges, mung bean sprouts, sliced banana flower, vietnamese corriander, mint leaves, and purple basil. Pile it all into your soup!

The Bun Bo Hue will come with 4 kinds of protein: Beef, pork knee bone (with lots of yummy collagen and fat), vietnamese ham (tastes like bologna or spam), and coagulated pork blood. If the blood imtimidates you than you can order your Bun Bo Hue without blood. Your soup will also come with thick wheat noodles and some scallions.

The highlight of this place is the broth. It's only slightly spicy, but rich in beef flavor and full of lemongrass flavor. This broth is amazing. You'll be happily slurping until your bowl is empty.

There are three condiments on the table: Fish sauce (squid brand but it's not made from squid), shrimp paste (thick and stinky! Be careful with this stuff), and a spicy satay sauce which I highly recommend you add to your broth if you like spicy soup!

Great bun bo hue flavors, but I feel like it’s better to get the regular size than the large. The large may look like there’s more cause it’s in a bigger bowl, but it’s mainly just broth!! I feel like the regular size has more noodles and protein so save your money and just order regular. I do like how they are not stingy with the veggies! They give a lot which is always a plus!! Service is not good because they do not acknowledge you, barely talk to you when you order, and do not even appreciate it when you say thank you to them. However, they sell nuoc mat, and it’s sooooo refreshing so I always come here for that, but don’t let the bad service get to you. Just come for regular size bbh and a nice...

This place used to be my favorite at first when they’re doing great at first couple years but lately their quality have came down. I felt like wasting my time to come here and trying to have a good bowl of Bun Bo Hue. They also have special drink as (nuoc mat). They need to stepping it up with the quality or else they be out business soon by other competitors.
