Service: I believe the place hasn't been opened for very long so there are still operational kinks that they need to figure out. It took a long time for our party of four to get seated. You just gotta flag the server down if you need anything. They are too busy to come by and check otherwise. On the other hand, everyone is nice and friendly. 3/5
Food: we went here for snails, clams and mussels prepared in Vietnamese style. Lemongrass steamed clams and Thai steamed snails (ốc hương) are solid. Ốc hương could be a bit fatter but the flavor was definitely on point; peraonally I would have preferred a more sharp and tangy broth but our party liked it. Clams could be cleaned better as well to get rid of all the sand but it was definitely our favorite. The lemongrass broth was spicy and savory. Grilled chilli salt snails was a bit overcooked and chewy, nothing to write home about. Grilled scallop with onion oil was done just right, definitely another one of our favorite. Kudos for serving a different kind of dipping sauce with every dish. We didn't get to the hot pot this time but they have riêu cua (crab), salmon head, red snapper, and goat hotpots among a couple of others. The snails were on the pricier side for the portion size but it is definitely expected for seafood and how hard it is to get them. The hotpot price is reasonable for a serving of 2. Definitely will come back to check out...
Read moreI was looking for late night hotpot. After a day of moving my stomach was aching from hunger. I came across this place, and was at first a bit skeptical since the rating only had 4.1 stars.
HOWEVER, this place exceeding all my expectations and more. The restaurant itself is in a sketchy area. But the food is well worth the drive. It's open till 11PM. They had authentic LAU (hotpot). I had the surf and turf. It came with veggies, meat, and seafood. I was sooooo hungry that I also ordered tons of little appetizers, see below for my appetizers I ordered.
A few things I ordered that was totally tasty:
Bot Chien (rice flour cake)- This was good CRUNCHY. The fried garlic on top was so fresh.
-Quail- This was sweet and baked.
-Scallops w/ Garlic butter- So yummy!
-Mini Eggrolls - 15 pieces came in this dish, and I consumed at least 10 lol. These little eggrolls are SOOOOOOOO ADDICTING!

Read moreFirst of all, we are the regular customers here, and we always refer our friends out of town to come here and try it out. I am not sure if that means anything to them. It was a cold/rainy Saturday night. We and our new friends (6 of us) decided to have some hot pots; however, when we showed up there is no table left, so we decided to wait at the bar. My wife asked the manager if it’s okay for us to eat at the bar and move to the table when it will become available? The manager said no to her, and he confirmed with her and stated that either eating at the bar or else...? He said to my wife: “Suy nghĩ kỹ đi.” in Vietnamese which means “Just make up your mind and let me know.” It seemed like he cares less we are being there or not. My wife and I really wanted to leave, but we decided to stay since our friends have been waiting there for a bit.
Pros: Variety of hot pots Cons: Very bad customer service from the manager, limited parking spaces,...
