Boba Chick — Restaurant in Houston

We arrived at 5:30 PM on a week day. The workers were goofing around, doing drive through orders, and drinking multiple newly made tea drinks with boba inside. We ordered and were informed that they had no more boba (likely because they used it on their own drinks) and that it would be 30 minutes before any would be ready. We ordered loaded fries and tea with cheese foam (over a dollar upcharge). We were given pale gray chicken and almost no foam. You could just barely see the foam. My husband had to ask if it was even there.

Friendly staff however that does not make up for the experience.

We ordered 4 drinks early afternoon with no other car in drive thru. Waited for a very long time and when the drinks were finally made, one of them they were out of. We already paid and didn't want to go through the hassle of asking for a refund for one drink so we reluctantly chose an alternative.

Had we known they were our of the drink from the get go, or as the order was being made it would of been ok. But at the end to be told? And then have to wait again for an alternate drink to be made?...

Went today and got a strawberry tea with strawberry bobas. I’ve been sick all day with nausea and throwing up. I know it’s base is green tea and that green tea can have certain side affects. But i drink green tea every day and have never had a reaction like this. One of the employees also seemed to have a bad attitude, throwing cups and spoons loudly while making my drink. They also didn’t seem to be cleaned properly. she just threw them into the sink and left them there. won’t be coming here again and don’t trust it here. my stomach is not...
