Disinterested could best describe how this person was even though I was the ONLY customer between 12:30-1 pm. Dining room was clean. I ordered. He disappeared. Perhaps he was also the Cook. I will say that the items fried were lightweight looking and tasting so maybe there was clean oil that it was fried in. However, to be on the corner of Scott Street in Holman, there was absolutely no seasoning. And then they were stingy with condiments. Can you sell shrimp with no cocktail sauce? And his response to every question was a little bit of a shoulder shrug to say “meh … Take it or leave it”. Someone walked out while I was waiting, and I asked if I could go ahead and get my drink. He never looked at me acknowledged I was talking. He proceeded to dig through several things across the counter, locate a straw turn around and walk back in the kitchen without ever acknowledging my presence. Please know that sometimes it’s not about the food. My colleague suggested I try it. Won’t be back anytime soon. I ate a few pieces to give it a fair review. It’s not bad, but I don’t even really know. I just ate. Oh, and if sliced bread sits out too long it becomes hard. I rarely will take the time to give a bad review. But as he shrugged his shoulders at me for the third time I felt compelled to scan the QR code. They ask for a review next to the card reader. THAT part...
Read moreWent here during the week at lunch time. The place doesn't have that much foot traffic and was pretty much empty the time we had lunch. I ordered the whole catfish plate with fries which comes out to $9.99 plus taxes. My homeboy ordered the 4 piece wings with fries. The order was made fresh since we were the first ones at the restaurant that afternoon. The restaurant was clean and the employees were nice and friendly. I really can't say anything bad about food but yet it didn't stand either. It was just plain nothing against regular food and it wasn't missing any species or ingredients. My homeboy who didn't even finish his wings said that it was okay. Usually when I go out to restaurants there is always one little thing that stands out either positive or negative but here nothing...

Prices of the food remained the same as just before Christmas 👏. Will definitely support Navy Seafood if the quality and cost remains great.
Just before Christmas: I've enjoyed Boba Cafe during prior visits and noticed the sign change to Navy Seafood - which actually was the original restaurant name. Enjoy the menu and food ordered photos and sincere thanks to the owners for their permission to take photos if the menu.
Navy Seafood has been in the neighborhood for several decades so it's nice to see they've returned to offering 'old school fried seafood' as well as the...
