BreWingZ Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Houston

Ok so giving 2 stars only because this is the 2nd time I have visited and the first time was good hence returning.This time however was a whole different experience not sure if something has gone on over the last few months but going to bullet point my feedback. No hostess waiting to greet and seat you but a member of staff sat eating at the very first table you see basically saying go sit where ever you like is not how you welcome customers also doesn't give a good impression. I get staff need to eat too however surely not at the first table as you walk through the door. Service was incredibly slow, we waited far too long on burgers and had to get up to pay at the end of the meal because staff were again sat chatting. Yes the place was dead but maybe it wouldn't be if the staff were delivering customer service instead of being paid to sit chatting. Only member of the team that appeared to be doing their job was the young lad. Food arrived eventually and was cold. Likely been ready for a while before anyone thought to bring it out. Didn't wanna risk sending it back. However did see another table send food back so clearly not just a one off. Whole place needs a re do. Since everyone seems to be posting 5 star reviews and I have no idea how I have attached some pics to show what I'm talking about. Thought it was strange that someone not in uniform was giving out the bills. If he works there I would have expected him to be in uniform. He was sat on the table talking with the other staff but not sure if part of the workforce or not. Staff need re training on customer service little quote from many examples "Can we get the bill please" reply "yeh" while walking off. No how was everything, anything else I can get you, thank you please come again just "yeh" even a "yes of course" would have done. Anyways all in all not somewhere I will be trying...

This establishment lacks standards and basic common courtesy. I give the food 3 stars. I give the other services 1 star. 2 stars is average, so that's why it's 2 stars for my Google review.

A while back I reviewed this restaurant with a very vague review. I don't remember what I said, but it was something about me not liking the location due to it's demographics (the lack of standards that the demographics hold at this location) and service. The owner or manager of the establishment obviously didn't like it because they looked me up on Facebook then sent me a private message asking why I wrote what I wrote. First of all, my opinion that I write about is my personal opinion; it's not meant to be degrading or offensive, it's simply how I feel about the establishment. I felt harassed by that person/stranger personally reaching out to me; I didn't even want to deal with it, so I blocked them and deleted my comment on Google reviews. I deleted my comment because I did recognize how it might've come across to other people reading the comment and my comment also didn't properly emphasize the issues at hand with this location.

Brewingz is franchise establishment, so they're all going to be the same in what they offer on the menu. I like the food that they have. It's not my first choice for a restaurant, but they do have some tasty wing options and other tasty meal options on their menu. My issue with this establishment is the lack of cleanliness that they portray, there's a bunch of teenagers or young 20-somethings running the place, the service is not kind - they all sound rude and look at you with this annoyed face like, "are you done talking yet," and making a to-go order on the phone always seems like such a...

The first Thing I noticed when I walked in was that nobody was at the front. I had attempted to call the restaurant before arrival and they had not picked up. To be fair it wasn’t that busy so their guard wasn’t up completely. It is a extremely evident that the staff admire and love James (one of the managers). I too had grown a liking to him when he started singing one of the songs that was playing in the bar. Jessica was extremely friendly and treated me with a lot of respect, but BreWingZ is out of its prime. It lives up to its name of being a sports bar by having all different types of games playing on the TVs and having different sports paraphernalia on the walls. They had some extremely outdated ads and posters on the walls however, but I would assume that is managed at corporate so I won’t ridicule them too harshly. I ordered 10 Honey BBQ and 10 BBQ wings. The Honey BBQ was extremely good. One of the most flavorful wings I’ve had in a long time and I could eat 100 more. The regular BBQ was okay. It’s intensity had to be cut with ranch and I was still struggling to eat them. Both sets of wings were dry, but I blame improper preparation or storage. They has a decent crunch to them and even though the meat was dry it was still very tender. Overall if you’re looking for some gourmet wing bar; this is not the place.
