Good prompt service. Restaurant is clean and seating is well spaced This trip we tried the spring rolls and the pho. There was a wide variety of pho and other soups to choose from. The pho we selected was very well prepared, an ample serving , and accompanied by good portions of fresh basil, cilantro, sliced jalapenos, bean sprouts, and lemon wedges to add to the pho. I would rate the pho to be in the top quartile of that I have experienced in Houston. It was very filling and neither of us could finish the entire bowl served to us. I would rate the Spring rolls at 3.5 out of 5. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful, however, there was nothing much to distinguish them from the spring rolls served by the numerous other Asian restaurants in Houston. The Thai coffee and fresh lemonade were good but not extraordinary. Many reviews mention the fried rice dishes. I observed several tables enjoying these and they did look quite tasty. My next visit to the restaurant will definitely include a fried rice dish.

This Vietnamese restaurant is tucked in a shopping center within Sharpstown. It's a huge room with lots of sitting which is perfect for big groups. I came in a party of 2 on a Friday night. It wasn't too busy and we decided to sit at a corner table. I have become a huge fan of pho since moving to Houston years ago (we have one of the nation's largest Vietnamese populations for crying out loud!). However, I will reluctantly admit that I haven’t ventured into soups outside of pho. Today I decided to get the Mi Cay Nhan (Egg Noodle Soup) and I think I have a new favorite! The soup itself has a slightly sweet but savory flavor to it and the noodles are fantastic. The broth could stand on its own, but with me being Mexican, I had to add both spicy siracha and zesty lime. Huge fan. We also came specifically looking for the spring rolls (Goi Cuon) and overall had a great time here. If you're looking for a casual restaurant with soup options outside of Pho, visit Tau Bay!

On first walk in, it didn't look like much. Classic strip center dining room. It was also pretty empty for dinner time on Friday night. The food was awesome though! We had egg rolls and a vermicelli bowl. My friend said the egg rolls were too meaty, but I liked them...especially since they weren't as greasy as most places. As for the noodle bowl, they put some sort of magical marinade on the pork before grilling it to tender perfection. Add this flavor to the pickled carrots in this dish and you end up with a vibrant flavor that will tantalize the taste buds. We finished off with a Durian Shake. A unique flavor (a bit like mango) that I'd never had before, but a tasty and refreshing end to an awesome, yummy meal. The staff was friendly too. This is my new fav for noodle bowls!

My daughter and I came here to try pho soup for the first time. It was not as good as people bragged about. My daughter didn't like it so she asked to return the soup for something else. They refused to return the soup saying that she had to keep it because she ordered it and they had other orders to get out . I work in customer service myself so I know this is unacceptable. I decided not to make a scene and just pay for my food and never patronize this place again nor reccomend it. They didn't even apologize...just stated rudely that they're not taking the soup back. I really hate that this place popped up when I Googled pho soup. Now I see why it's a big deal to keep our dollars in our own communities. We ended up eating churchs chicken in the same parking lot . Forgot to mention. The wait staff is trash. We tried to get to waitresses attention and they looked us dead in the face and walked the other way. ..they clearly saw us waving them down . My daughter had to get up and walk to the counter where she was still being ignored until we mentioned that we were ready to pay. I've lived in Houston 13 years now and this by far is the most terrible service I've received in...

Came for takeout at 8pm when it’s cold outside after a long workday and the pho was the worst Ive ever eaten when I got home. They had a sign saying not to eat to-go orders in the restaurant. Now I feel like that’s cuz they choose to dump sub par food on the to-go customers. The broth was watered down with zero flavor. There was no cilantro, basil, sprouts, or chilis. The noodles were packaged hot out of the boil and the beef (?) thrown right on top and sealed in a bowl making it pre-cooked to a jerky-like consistency by the time I assembled my bowl at home. Also the beef (?) tasted old and had gross fat hanging off all the slices. I fed it to my dog. The spring rolls they gave me were also made of dregs like funky old jerky meat (?) and the peanut sauce was weird and came from whatever leftovers they found in the fridge. There was big lazy cut chunks of white onion in everything and that ain’t right. Ppl don’t have money to waste and they took advantage of me (despite leaving a 15% tip on takeout, which they thanked me for prior to discovering it was disgusting) so I’m on here to warn others. I couldn’t eat more than a couple of...
