Stopped by for the first time today. Wasn’t very impressed. Definitely no southern hospitality here. Walked in didn’t get greeted or helped for the firsts few minutes even though I was the only one in line to order. I look around and see the computer which says order here so I’m like “okay maybe that’s what needs to get done” I go ahead and follow through the kiosk. While there near the end I get someone coming in the front saying ,”you good” which I nod. Another group of customers come in and they were able to check out with the cashier so I guess it’s both ways. I finished and select for printied receipt. My receipt didn’t print. Confused I wait, and wait some more for the cashier some workers pass by and I finally get handed my receipt, wordlessly. Fine I turn to the drinks to grab a cup… and there’s no cups so another thing I have to request and show my receipt to that yes I order a soft drink. Guy comes drop off food and runs back without a word. Burger was good and fries could use some seasoning. Finished eating. And now I’m confused again. Do I leave the tray? Do I go drop it off. After looking around it’s seems like I leave it. Heading out I take another glance and see nope there’s a tray station stuck to the wall not very obvious. I go back grab my tray and leave it. Maybe it’s an off day, I dunno but was disappointed with the service for the price point in food.

I discovered this place while working with an elderly patient who raved about this place. I definitely had to check it out once he mentioned "best fries ever", and that they over poured their fries in a cardboard container. Came home after work and told my husband all about it. Went to check out the place with the whole family, and boyyyyyyy was my patient right about the place. Too bad this place is 30 mins away from us, but quite worth the drive for the burgers and fries! The burgers are quite small and pricey, I'll admit. But for the quality, I'd say it worth it. Truffle burger, TO DIE FOR! Truffle fries, UGH! Literally heaven in my mouth! Tried the Thai salad as well, and I really enjoyed that as well. As mentioned before, this place is pricey for the portion so be prepared to put a dent in the pocket. But honestly, what do expect from a hipster joint... lately I've notice the whole cookie sheet trays serving burger combo meals on the fancy wax sheet. All for social media and marketing I suppose. All in all, I'd recommend this place, and have frequently retuned. Pro tip: share the fries if you dare, if not get your own if you're greedy AF about truffle fries. Enjoy!

Update: Honestly I forgot about visiting here before (during the pandemic) and was thinking of trying a local burger here. Got a Texan and a Buff Burger, and also fries. Burgers were hearty, thick, flavorful patties; ordered them medium well and each burger tasted great. Fries were good too and maybe the thinnest I've seen, but good texture and not too crispy; bag came with plenty of them. They also had a seasonal item (chicken sandwich) and a special milkshake flavor and those looked appealing too. Relaxed atmosphere; quick, friendly service. Would like to come again. --------------------------------------------- Picked up a Texan Burger and fries. Service was fast and friendly. The burger was tasty and cooked just right. The fries were good, but they were cut very skinny and tended to break in pieces that were a little hard for me to pick up and dip in the spicy ketchup (but I did like the spicy ketchup and the taste of the fries).

Another gourmet burger joint with good reviews? Let's try it out! I visited the site with a group from work for lunch. As we entered, the tables were roughly 80% occupied and there was a line of 5-6 in front of us. Orders seemed to be processed pretty fast so it was our turn to order from one of the two open registers within 5 or so minutes. My colleague ordered directly from the menu and I ordered separately from the same register with the addition of jalepenos to my burger. We sat down at the wall tables closet to the registers as 4 seats were together and displayed our numbers for easy viewing. All seemed well as we waited for our food, but time passed...15..20 minutes.. we then notice people that ordered 5+ minutes after us begin to get their food. Around that time we see several staff walking back and forth and outside with trays, then going to the back for several minutes. Did they not have the right numbers? Did the cashier we ordered from make a bunch of mistakes? Finally they bring the food to me but not my colleague that ordered just before me. I immediately touch cold burger and fries... unacceptable. I ask the server "did you mean to serve this cold?". He stops and says "what?", I ask again "why is my food cold?". He turns and walks away...back to the cooking area and doesn't get the manager, offer to heat it, nothing. I wait one minute then get up and get the manager myself in front of a growing crowd at the register. She was nice but clearly overwhelmed. I told her what transpired and she immediately offered to get a new one and refund my money. I told her a new one was fine and didn't need a refund, and informed her my colleague still had yet to receive his order, cold or not. About 5 min later our food arrived and it was warm and quality was decent, but not quite good enough compared to other gourmet burger joints that cost a bit less. Near end of the meal the manager came over with a refund of my meal as well as full stamp card for money off my next visit. I applaud her effort and give both stars to her, but I gave the card away as I won't be returning for...

This is what burgers are supposed to taste like! Lots of flavors, nice soft buns, at the perfect temp, with just the right amount of moisture and saltiness... yeah, good.

I wish they still had the sweet potato fries, but they still have tons of flavors, and one of the best $11 cheese burgers in town. Choose the flavors you like... Point Reyes blue cheese one of my favs. Or you can get Point Reyes Swiss, or a nice cheddar. Would be cool to see them do it with some brie (maybe since they keep changing the menu on me, I can nominate brie for a future menu change!). They could bring back some of the sweet jams on some of the burgers too! Really though, stick to the burgers and you can't go wrong.

I should say, that with the with recent removal of certain menu items like the Blue Burger, and goat cheese, and sweet potato fries, and various other things, it does feel a bit like the company is trying to move towards a cheaper product, or maybe to a menu that is more easily replicated at multiple locations. I definitely think it's a concept that is worth expanding to more locations. I also think that spending some time on each new location to develop a great menu with local ingredients, and tons of flavor and character, will be more attractive than reducing the menu to the items that are easiest to produce but that are still pretty good... Starbucks didn't become Starbucks by getting rid of their more complicated recipes. I hope this place brings back some of the good stuff that has been removed, or replaces those items with similarly spectacular new items, rather than sticking with the relatively simpler menu that is currently on offer. It's more fun to win by being better than everyone else in the market, rather than by cutting costs until the character of the...

Monday evening, the place almost packed. Lots of kids left to run and bang on chairs. But that's on the parents, not BuffB. The menu is limited and on three small LCD screen. I can read it fine, just looking out for the "wiser ones" ...i don't like to call them old. I ordered the signature BuffBurger well done and chocolate shake. The price was nearly $16 ...I'm not cheap but dang. Whatever I thought, I live in the neighborhood so what the heck. Supporting local business, I'm doing. First off, the service needs improvement, because 20min later I was brought 2 incorrect orders. I'm fine with the wait since the burger is fresh and not reheated. But come on, don't tease me with great smelling food. Finally, burger arrives hot and steaming. WHAT! Where's the buff? Is buff short for buffalo? Idk. This little guy is not buff IT'S A PUFF! The Puff Burger is really small, definitely not going to fill up a blue color working Man up. AND NO FRIES? Apparently there is a charge for that. No lie, I took my time with it and still finished in 8 bites. The best thing about it, is the flavor. Burger was great and hard not to wolf it down. So the 2 star loss is due to size, atmosphere and cost. But the place is cool and in the area of my rez. I'd like to come back...maybe after I have dinner and want a light snack ...a puffy snack. PS chocolate shake it really good. Maybe it's from Raw milk. Hell yeah ! Go check it out for yourself and make your own experience count....
