Ranchero King Buffet — Restaurant in Houston

The first time I was here was months ago and didn’t really took the time to check the food because I was shocked of how pricy it was, for 6 persons we payed about $115 it’s ridiculous too overpriced. Now I went yesterday and the food was disgusting all meats had a nasty smell the corn was rotten and they just added some type of sweetener so it would taste “good”. Tortillas had a yucky smell too. If the meat was smelly the Tripe was even more. Just overall the food is terrible conditions this type of food can really get you sick if you have kids like I do I wouldn’t feed them this. If I could rate this with zero stars I would.

Fist we came in and yes payed our 20.00 dollars per plate yes my wife and I so we serve our food in the plate Iam at the table eating my food and guess what 😮 happend a pease of hair in my food I get upset I want to throw up 🤢 but I called the waitress she was really nice went to try to get a manager so he never came well I we’ll go to him to see why is there a hair in my food 🥘 for 20 .00 that a big no. First off, we have been driving past this place for years and last night we decided to stop in. Online prices for dinner were 9.99, we get in and new prices when inside 13.99 plus,cost of drink. It seems different prices for different days, was not noted online.. I was disappointed . The food was sub par, some was fresh, over half was old and didn't taste good. The drinks were OK, my daughter liked the roasted chicken, barbacoa was good but didn't have any tortilla to make tacos. There was a hard overcooked shell in another area reminiscent or a chalupa, no soft tacos. The floutas were very dry, hard, and tasteless, cheese enchiladas were cold and not very good. The tamales didn't have any flavor but they did have strawberry ones, I didn't try them though. The pupusa were good hot and fresh. Basically the sopes and papusa were the only things that I felt was edible. They have sodas and Aqua Fresca as well as horchata. They have a few different soups and hot drinks like hot chocolate and coffee. There were salads but they did look old so I didn't try them. They also had pizza, chicken strips, wings. My daughter and I didn't feel the need to get seconds we weren't even there for a hour, that's how dissatisfied we were. I feel it was a waste of...
