Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Houston

Been coming to this location for awhile and notice the same issue each and every time! They try so hard to up charge you for anything thing. 1) when you order your food on the menu you have options for small, regular or large. The cashier will only say would you like regular or large form not even offer the small. Then they ask if you would like loaded fries when regular friend already comes with the combo! Then they only have large cups displayed out my 1st encounter I remember the cashier telling me of I wanted something to drink I would have to buy a large cup because they are out of small cups. So this go around I notice the same thing and I asked if they have small cups because I don’t need a large drink. The cashier went under a cabinet to grab my regular cup. I placed an order for wings this time and asked for ranch after receiving my meal and they informed me there is an extra charge for ranch of .60. When I came before and was not charged! They will never have to worry about me coming back ever again and spending another dime at this location . They are desperate for...

Food is always great but today I did have a problem with their staff. Amber and Johanna are very unprofessional, Johanna had a careless attitude with my problem (food was made incorrectly) and Amber seems young and immature. They both gave me blank stares when I explained my food was made wrong and seemed dismissive like there was nothing for them to do to fix my problem. I was polite and simply wanted my food to be made the right way but because of how they treated me I asked for a refund. Clarissa the manager was on her break and took the time to get up and ask what happened. She was very genuine, issued me my refund and had my food remade quickly and correctly. She has exceptional customer service skills and I really appreciated her help and genuineness. I've only ever been to this place once at the recommendation of my manager as I work in the mall. I will echo previous reviews that stated that they are disorganized and the staff is irresponsible and boisterous, but they hire kids so I guess that's to be expected. I ordered the jalapeño Philly - small - with fries and a drink and with my mall employee discount it totaled close to $10, which seemed excessive and not worth it. The fries and drink were the only things I enjoyed as the sandwich was subpar and bland.
