I tried to place an order here on Sunday, August 10th around 3:30pm. I had met a friend and watched a movie there and we got in line to order. I understood that there was just one person working so did not mind the wait. When the guy took my order her barely acknowledged me and sort of just nodded his head. I at this point was confused becuase he didnt tell me to pay or say anything. My friend, a separate customer than me, waited about 5-10 minutes at the order line and he finally made eye contact with her and she told him her order. He did not acknowledge her at all. She tried to order about 3 separate times and was never acknowledged, not even told to just give him some time. She eventually decided to leave to get food somewhere else because she was hungry and not sure if she was getting an order placed there or not. I stayed waiting on the side because he had acknowledged me and I knew he had taken my order. He eventually waved me over and asked for payment. He then asked where my friend went, and I told him that I think she left because she wasn't sure if her order had been taken. He told me to make her come back and I did tell her that he said that but she said no. I told him I was a seperare customer, he said he was just one person and that he had to make the food and take the orders. I told him I understood that but I think she was just confused because she wasn't acknowledged but I wasn't sure. He insisted I make her come back stating that he had made her order but I said that I told her already and she said no and that I have no control over her and I understood what he was saying but I have no control over her. He kept telling me he was just one person who takes the orders and makes the food so he would naturally be slow to do that. I told him I understand that, but she is a separate person that I have no control over. He said again that I knew her and I said I understand that I know her but I have no control over her. He then said fine I won't serve either of you. I told him I am a separate person than her and I understood what he was saying but I do not have control over her and I am a seperare customer. The person behind me agreed and was confused as well. I then asked to speak to a manager which he said he was but would not give me his name. I tried calling to speak to a manager as well and was not answered. Very disappointed and annoyed that I was refused service over something I had no control over and the overall service. Read moreI had an extremely upsetting experience at this location on Saturday 5/24—easily the worst I’ve ever had here. From the moment I walked up to the counter, there was no greeting or acknowledgment despite me saying hello. I waited patiently and kindly for my order to be taken. When I finally ordered, I clearly requested light cheese and only chicken and cheese due to a food intolerance. The staff member acknowledged my request by saying “yeah, sure” but still made the sandwich with onions.
When I pointed out the mistake, he refused to remake it, insisting he “knew he made it right” and falsely claimed I hadn’t asked for no veggies. I was shocked—this was simply untrue. I explained that I had a food intolerance and could not eat the sandwich. He still refused to make a new one for quite some time and when I finally persisted that I wouldn’t be able to eat the meal he told me it would take 20 minutes despite there being no other person in line and the order only having taken the meal 10 minutes prior. I honestly couldn’t believe someone would refuse to remake food for a customer who clearly stated they had a food intolerance.
We asked to speak to a manager, and he claimed he was the manager. We later confirmed with another employee that he is not. When he finally did remake the sandwich, after 20 minutes, it was still wrong—he used buffalo chicken instead of regular. I went ahead and ate it instead of going back because I was extremely upset.
