This place is ran by Branden Gibson. I don’t know what’s more disturbing the way the employees are trained in an emergency or his response to an emergency. I visited this location today and witness complete negligence on the part of management- Team Leads and when this owner was called he was more concerned of why he was being called.
One of his employees passed out in the drive thru line. Assisted by another teammate and a customer that was in his own vehicle tried to assist. This young man was not responsive and had no idea where he was. I personally asked on 5 occasions for someone to call 911. There were two amazing young ladies trying to assist me. I instructed one to get the manager or lead on duty while she calls his emergency contact and the other girl to call 911. Both were told to get back to work by Gloria. Chase was asked to assist with getting wet towels, napkins anything to cool this kids body temperature while me and another customer assisted this young man as he clearly was experiencing a medical emergency.
Now, I ordered my food at 2:40pm EMS wasn’t called until 3pm and that was by another customer that said it was unacceptable the amount of time we asked the staff for help. Not one team member was calling for help! Even the girls were scared to call for HELP and didn’t want me to speak with management for fear it would make things worst for them. EMS arrived at which time I asked to speak with Branden Gibson regarding the level of negligence, lack of training and response of his staff. I was met with a similar attitude but however, was given a condescending “Thank You” for being in the restaurant to assist. His complete disregard of my concerns were telling. I expressed that his staff is undertrained and displayed a level of negligence that is unsafe for employees and guest combined. I proceeded to ask for his contact phone number stating that I will be doing a follow up at which time he said “It’s the number you called me on” and I reminded him I’m on one of his employees phone.
The response today from staff, management, and business owner is a direct reflection of his leadership. He met my conversation with condescending, nonchalant and high level of rudeness that should make any parent or future employee concerned about employment here.. .. I have filed a complaint with The Chick-fil-A franchise corporate office and will follow up w/ Harris County Restaurant Safety & Compliance. Because this could have went terribly wrong.
So DO BETTER Mr Gibson! Because this could have been your child and today could have went terribly wrong for another family! Train your staff better & instead of being rude to your customers embrace that we stepped in when it was business as usual with your own staff!...
Read moreSince they have new management in there this food is horrible they don't need to serve any chicken tortilla soup, because it's not really soup, and if you can't even taste the tortilla soup in the soupthis is the nastiest so called soup I've ever tasted in my life it's not like the original and they said they make it themselves now daily, and when they got it from wherever imported it or whatever, it tasted delicious two years ago or three years ago when they first put it on the menu it was good, now they don't want you to even sample it before you buy it because they know it's nasty. I vomited from the taste which was so nasty l got a return on my money. It tastes just like two kinds of beans and hot peppers and then plain chicken with no seasoning just a bunch of hot jalapeno peppers to cover over the nastiness of it Chick-fil-A should be ashamed of itself with that poison. I won't be visiting their chicken coup any time soon!! Change your management to qualified people that know what their doing as far as handling customer concerns. People should be able to taste the food before you buy it...especially if it's a seasonal product!!! Think about it, your local grocer's do it. Chick-fil-A now has people who will lie to you about not allowing you to taste the food or certain items before you purchase them. At the present I don't care if I never see another Chick-fil-A. Shame, Shame, Shame,- Nasty,...
Read moreAs of today, I REFUSE to return to this location ever following today's events. I placed a mobile order for a convenient pick up while on a work break. My job is about 5 mins away. I enter the drive thru/mobile order line. The line was fairly long but not surprising due to time of day (3:00pm). While in line, I noticed the mobile scan was no available. I spoke with a team member that stated that the line is for both drive thru and mobile order. After 10mins of looking at the other drive thru line moving, I notice a customer get out of her car to inquire about our line being held up. The team members expressed confusion as well. After another 10 mins, I asked a team member to speak with a manager. The team member, Valerie stated she would inform the manager. However no manager came and I sat in line for an additional 15mins. I also attempted to reach a manager via phone but was only able to live a message. Total I spent 35mins in a drive thru line for a mobile order!!! My nuggets were also COLD!! Not to mentioned the other line continued to flow with no issue. I understand its a busy time however simple courtesy and communication to your customers go a long way.
As a loyal customer, I pride Chick-fil-A on its efficiency of service so I'm truly disgusted by today's experience. I will not be returning to...
