Today, May 16, 2025, my sister and I went through the drive-through to pick up the food we had ordered online before they closed. We placed our order at about 9:40 p.m.; they close at 10:00 p.m. When we arrived at the drive-through, we ordered a 30-piece nugget meal with fries and a sweet tea. My sister ordered a chicken sandwich meal with fries and a sweet tea. The fries were extremely cold, and the sweet tea tasted like it had been watered down—it was very light. My chicken nuggets were fresh, but we did not receive the chicken sandwich.
We left the drive-through without properly checking the bag and had to turn around. We made it back at 10:06 p.m. There were still about six workers in the drive-through, talking. When we pulled up, they laughed at us and tried to ignore us, so I knocked on the window to get the supervisor. She came to the window and asked for our receipt, but we know that Chick-fil-A does not provide receipts at the drive-through. I told her this, and she said, “Well, we don’t have anything but cold food. Do you want that?” I replied that I wanted what we paid for—the spicy chicken sandwich. She said, “I can refund you for that, but everything is off. All the grease is off, and we don’t have anything made except cold food.” I responded, “You gave me cold fries, so why not put our food in our bag when we paid for it?”
I showed her that we had two fries, two drinks, and even two packs of mayonnaise that they put in the bag for the chicken sandwich, since they put it on the side. Overall, it was just a bad experience. I feel like they should wait until closing time to start turning off the fryers. Why are they still collecting payments if the fryers are already off? It’s not right. I spent my hard-earned money there, and when I order food, it should be fresh, no matter what time it is. If you’re closed, you’re closed—you can’t be half closed. If the drive-through is open and you’re still collecting payments, you shouldn’t be serving cold food. Something needs to be...
Read moreI never thought I would give CFA a poor review. This one comes down to pickles. I recently moved, so I have a new CFA near me. CFA has a standard of high quality service and food. That is why this bothers me so much. I can’t believe someone knew this was unacceptable, yet did it anyway. So very intentional! I purchased two meals. With obtaining a new home, I had work to do on my day off from work. I knew I needed a lunch and a dinner, so I ordered the nugget meal and the spices chicken meal. I ate the nuggets for my lunch and saved the spicy chicken for my dinner. When I was ready for my dinner, I had to deconstruct the sandwich to warm it up in the oven. That’s when I discovered the pickle situation. I usually order extra pickles, but in my haste, I forgot. I’m fine with the three pickles rule CFA has, but the pickle quality is another story. I know it seems small to complain about pickles, but I love pickles. More importantly, as stated before, this was so blatantly intentional! If this was any other fast food chain, I would never think anything of it. I choose CFA for their standards and this time, they were not met. I hope the manager sees this and speaks with the crew. I would suggest the rule of them should be, if you wouldn’t pick those pickle for your sandwich, don’t put them on someone else’s sandwich. Or even better, if it doesn’t look commercial worthy, don’t serve it. Aside from the pickles, or lack there of, the other items of the meals did not disappoint. I was just shocked the pickles were served from a CFA. I write reviews for every new place I try. Most of mine are 4 & 5 stars. It truly pains me to give less than that. PS: please bring back...
