I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at this hookah restaurant, and I can’t emphasize enough how disappointing it was. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill. The valet was not only rude but completely disorganized. Instead of a warm welcome, we were met with attitude and confusion, which was just the start of our troubles.
The check-in process was a complete mess. There was no clear line or system, and we stood around feeling lost while staff members seemed overwhelmed and uninterested in helping us. It was frustrating and set a really negative tone for the evening.
Once we finally got seated, I couldn’t believe how cramped the tables were. It felt like we were sitting on top of the next party, making it impossible to enjoy our conversation without feeling like we were intruding on someone else’s. The atmosphere was chaotic and far from relaxing.
Now let’s talk about the food. I had high hopes, but everything we ordered was bland and lacked any real flavor. I’ve had better meals at a fast-food joint. It’s a shame because we expected much more from a place like this.
To top it all off, there were kids running around the entire restaurant, which made the situation even more unbearable. It was impossible to focus on our meal or even have a conversation with the constant noise and distractions.
And don’t even get me started on the forced gratuity of 15%. Given the subpar service and overall experience, it felt completely unwarranted. To add insult to injury, when we asked for tap water, they refused and only offered to sell us bottled water. This is not only frustrating but also a violation of Texas law. I left feeling frustrated and ripped off. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and find a place that actually values...
Read moreLa pasha - the good, bad and ugly The good - we walked in on a Wednesday evening at 6pm and was seated right away. Bek was our server and he took our orders soon after. Food was quick to come as well - within 10-15min it was on our table and piping hot. Portions were good. We ordered a lentil soup for starter, a rib eye steak and the mixed platter for entree, both of which came with two sides. We also ordered chicken nuggets for the kids that came with fries. For drinks, we ordered the Mango smoothie and pop. Water is bottled only and $3 for a small bottle. There’s an outdoor play area for kids but I’d recommend watching the kids while they play. Some kids play really rough and a fight broke out between two boys while we were there. The bad - Although food came on time, it was bland and tasteless. Lentil soup was disappointing, No seasoning or the usual richness of butter and warm spices. Mixed platter was no better. Chicken Tawook was meh and shish kabab was rubbery, kofta kabab didn’t even have a pinch of salt. Had to dip them in the garlic and hot sauce to make them palatable. Fries were crispy though. The ugly - parking is valet only, god knows why. It’s not like it’s a three storey parking lot🙄 Totally unnecessary. Also, there’s no separation from smokers and non smokers and there’s smoke and hot coals everywhere. Very, very dangerous for toddlers and young children running in and out to the playground. There’s also a mandatory 15% gratuity+tips no matter the size of the group.. Ambiance and decor is nice and it’s a good place to hang out maybe, do shisha. It’s super loud. Not for those of us with young kids, looking for tasty food and a relaxing time. Overall, I’d give it...

Our experience at La Pasha on the 29th of Ramadan was unfortunately a huge letdown. We were a group of four and had made our reservation in advance, expecting a warm and respectful dining experience, especially in a place that markets itself as premium and family-friendly.
We had our 4-year-old with us, and naturally, he wasn’t hungry, so we didn’t take a separate plate for him. I politely informed the server, thinking it would be understood. But to my shock, the response I got was, “So what? He ate, right? Then pay for it.” That tone and attitude were absolutely unacceptable. As someone who works in hospitality, you don’t speak to customers like that. His name was either Hasan or Harris, whoever it was needs immediate training on basic manners and service.
On top of that, the restaurant automatically includes a service charge on a buffet, and yet the servers still expect a tip on top of that? Are you serious? And yes, you pay $5 for parking, but the valet stands there clearly expecting a tip too. This “tip culture” is being exploited here with zero accountability for actual service.
The prices are already on the higher side, and I wouldn't complain if the service matched the cost. But it doesn't. Instead, there’s arrogance, entitlement, and complete disregard for the values that should be at the heart of a Muslim-run establishment, especially during the sacred month of Ramadan.
To the owners: You might have built a name, but this kind of service will ruin it faster than you realize. Go back and revisit the humble beginnings that earned you your reputation. Without respect, hospitality is hollow. This was my last visit.
