This goes to the Lock hair stylist that did my locs DAMION I hope I spelled it right he's a African American dark-skinned male with a low cut fade I've seen his reviews at another location, they where horrible their but he's moved to a different location called (k one) store is in good condition accept Damion, he was 20 to 30 minutes late to his own appointment first off before I called Damion I specifically told him I called other stylist due to my regular stylist canceled on me other stylist I called before Damion where rude I wanted someone with good attitude b knew what they where doin I told Damion my whole head is locked up had my loc connections for about a year I need everything tighten and need my 6 locs back together I didn't care how much I spend on my hair because I wanted my crown done he responded back n said yes the Crochet needle that my regular stylist use he does them I was excited n went to him asap soon as I got the he clean my hair put me under the heater he did charge me 230$ to do my hair i was goin to give him a tip instead with the 230$ if the results where good soon as he got done with my hair the hair looked good I was happy but he dropped the charge down from 230$ to 93$ witch was off for me n put me in a concerning moment I've already spoke with friends n family n already had my layer on the sider just in case funny things where goin to happen towards my crown before I left I cash app Damion 150$ instead of 93$ because I was excited foe my hair looking good when I got home n took my locs down my hair was not titchen a loc fell out of my hair n I was missing a loc I was disappointed because I wanted all my locs tighten because I am mostly on the road my heart is broken not only that I called to I form him about my locs n he called me speaking over me I told him where is the loc that I'm missing he tells me he doesn't know I'm literally laughing n crying right now because I don't play about my crown or my looks or hard earned money it's makes me upset because I support other black communities but do me so dirty he's a good stylist but lies about the Magic he does for people hair he may do a good job but it's half way done by the way a loc fell out n I'm missing a loc if I known he didn't know how to do the work I wouldn't came to him n waited on my stylist lol I'm literally laughing at this whole thing because what I got...

I booked an appointment with Brittany for 2pm on Thursday. We had spoken on the phone twice, to confirm that the hairstyle (see picture for reference), price ($100 for shampoo and style), and appointment time was feasible.

She comes ten minutes late to the appointment, and tells me it is going to be an additional cost because my hair was “longer” than expected.

She washes, and puts deep conditioner in my hair to make it easier to comb out. With no additional information given, an hour and a half goes by. I still have the deep conditioner in my hair, and she’s working on a different client.

When I get up from my seat and walk to her booth, I ask her “is it meant to sit for this long?” (Remember, an hour and a half has passed) She replies that since my hair is matted, it needs to sit for longer.

At this point, I ask to go home so I can get a couple of things. When I am at home, I try calling and texting to know if I am good to come back to the salon. No replies or responses.

I come back around 6pm, and she is working on a completely different client. Citing that I would need to wait until after she finishes with her new client.

At this point, four hours of my day have been lost, so I just ask for her to wash and comb out my hair. She does a portion of my hair, but I realize it is going to take awhile, and I didn’t want her 5pm client to have to potentially wait as long as I did.

I ask for her to stop, and just rinse out the deep conditioner (that has been in my hair for about 4 hours at this point).

A friend had recommended this place, and it was my first time I wanted to try getting my hair done for my graduation. So this was a big disappointment.

Last thing I will add is, I paid a $50 deposit. I didn’t receive the full service, so I ask for the deposit back. If there was a non-refundable deposit policy, I would understand, but that was not communicated at all. I ask for the deposit back, and she...

Tia is the best y’all! So attentive and down to earth, and pays attention to the individual need of her client. Been here twice and have my third appointment scheduled next week. i had a natural sew in done with her and came back to have it washed and restyled...sooo nice. Typically I had been accustomed to having to having to take care of my own sew ins in between including taking down and washing my own hair which I HATE.
