I have been a member here for over two years now. I like the gym overall, it is clean and usually not too packed. However, one issue that I cannot get over is the terrible customer service at the front desk. I am NOT exaggerating when I say I can count on one hand the number of times someone at the desk greeted me or said anything on my way out the door. No, "have a nice day" or "see you next time." They are always too busy being on their phone or see me walk out the door and choose not to speak. I am big on customer service, and I believe you guys need big help on that or new people at the desk. It is very disappointing. Whenever I am spoken to, it has been the same guy every single time. I am not sure of his name but I will definitely find out because I appreciate him. Yesterday was really my last straw it honestly pisses me off. I don't want to assume that this is the problem or even jump to conclusions, however I am usually one of few or the only black person at the gym every time I go. I am not joking that there have been multiple times that I walk in and no one says anything to me at the front desk, but then another person walks in/out right behind me and the front desk person will greet them. Read moreThe gym itself is alright. However this review is directed more so to the Blink company and employees at this location. About 5 months ago I went in person to cancel my membership. When I went in they said I had to pay to cancel. However, their site states if you are moving more than 20 or 25 miles away you will not be charged for cancellation. I asked to speak to a manager and she was working out while on the job and did not come to speak to us. She kept sending her employee back and forth with a message to us. That is very unprofessional and disrespectful to say the least. We then were handed a cancellation card and told it would be handled. It was NOT and I was charged again. I called the gym to let them know and make sure it was cancelled. Again, I was told it was and that I could be certain and rest easy. What a LIE. They charged me for the next 5 months and I kept disputing it on my credit card because this gym does not do their job. I’m currently working on my 3rd attempt to cancel and bringing corp into it. Read moreI was a student enrolling gym for a month for my physical education class which I explained to employees and the employees said me to pick a membership which was $1 only if I cancel in 3 days and if I dont I would be charged $24 which I wasn’t able to cancel because I got covid and I was fine paying $24 and after 15 day when I went to cancel they said me to pay $79+$19 as maintenance fee and cancellation fee which they never mentioned before and said I need to inform gym before 45days of cancellation, i made sure that employee know i was going only for a month and they never explained me the situation too! They made me pay $105 for a month from which i went 3 days…. Very unprofessional and they charge ridiculous for unexplained charges which they never mention while you enroll.
