Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Houston

I only gave them 1 ⭐ because you cannot do a review with 0 stars. The store was dirty, The coke machine was turned off due to it leaking, but the lady from churchs still turned it on after she told me it was not working. There was also a sticker that said out of service. The chicken was dry as hell. The baked Mac and cheese that they charge you extra for was not baked, but mushy and overcooked. They barely give you any okra, and charge you extra for that also. I was just passing through on my way out of town, and was not going to complain until I received an alert on my bank account for fraud. They also charged me 2x for 2 different transactions. When I called they didn't answer. Corporate will be hearing from me, and I will be getting a full refund.

Update!!! When the supposed manager Tiffany called me from her personal number she said bring the chicken back. I'm bringing the chicken back , and she offered to remake my food. Why would I want my good remade when I wasn't happy with it in the first place? Plus she was there when I had my first...

In d pass the food here was fresh hot great taste this year 2023 the food has decline and customers service none at all i come there in November no one was in the front than the cook came 10min later told me she was going to get some one so stood 2 min no one in front now so i walk around store than i come to the counter 10 min later now staff out i still decide to order anyway Mexican girl cashier on her phone leaning on wall she didn't greet i got my food made it home my man told the food look old so i look lawd chicken dark very dry didn't tast fresh tasted dirty biscuit dry rubber hard middle of it not cook. mash potatoes was good but lawd knows i would have went back but d democrats gas prices n surge prices made it not...

Ordered chicken from here through door dash for my husband who works near by we’ve never had a problem till yesterday. One the time was delayed because they had to “cook” more spicy chicken, thank god he can take lunch anytime but also when he opened chicken it had maggots in it he completely had to make himself vomit this is gross. They must be cooking old chicken or something would not recommend at all. Staying away from this location from now on. Health department need to go...
