Service was slower than it should have been. I don't normally write a review this long, but I wanted to give the timeline.
When we got in the drive-thru, there was a working truck ahead of us. After waiting about 3 minutes without their order being taken, they left. We pulled up to order, and the nice young man who's always on the intercom took our order. He's always friendly. There were 3 cars in front of us. I would say it took about 3-4 minutes for the car in front to get their food and leave. Because by now the wait is more than 6 minutes, I thought that maybe they were frying a fresh batch of chicken. I could understand, if that were case.
The blue van in front of us got to the window, spoke with the worker and left without their order. When we got to the window, the pleasant employee told us, after I paid, to wait in front, and someone would bring out our order. I realized that the folks in the van must have been told the same because they were parked in the front too. No one came out with their food, and after about 3-4 minutes, the man got out and went in. 2-3 minutes later, the woman got out too.
So now, we waited. After 3 minutes or so, my son got out; after 2 minutes, I got out. The couple finally came out. I took out our receipt and went in. The lobby was full, so I figured that was why things were slow. There were customers waiting with their receipts in hand.
After waiting a couple of minutes with no acknowledgement, I had to be the one to speak up, to wave and say, "Excuse me." I saw the real issue. Church's looked to be fully staffed. There had to be a good 6-7 crew members, aside from the young man on the drive-thru, in that kitchen. I get laughing and talking with your co-workers. It makes the job fun, and I don't fault them for that. But when there is more conversation and laughter with pauses in between discussions while hungry customers are waiting, looking annoyed, and saying nothing to them, THAT'S when it's a problem, and that's why service was so slow.
I didn't write this long review to get anyone in trouble. I just hope that the supervisor there will read this, and remind their staff to chat less and work more while customers are waiting.
Our food was good, so we'll still be returning customers. Thank...
Read moreI always try to avoid this place as much as possible. Today, it took them over 20 minutes for us to get out meal... and it was still wrong. I asked for the white gravy dipping sauce and they tried to give me the brown gravy. I had ordered it when ordering. Griselda said she might have some in the back. So she and another lady went to the back to make me my gravy. After like 3 minutes that they didn’t come back, I had to ask the drive thru guy to just give me honey mustard. I told the guy at the drive thru that if they didn’t have something, they should take it off the menu. When I was about done with my meal, the other lady put it on the counter. They were talking in Spanish about me, thinking of I didn’t understand. The guy was telling the other two women that I was complaining. Like seriously, pointing at a customer while your complaining that I’m complaining. After I was done eating, I approached the counter and asked for my lemonade that I paid for and didn’t get. Griselda quickly got me the lemonade. The other lady said my gravy was on the counter and she tried calling out for me to get it. I told her that I didn’t want it because I was done and I should have got it at the beginning when I originally ordered it, not whenever they decided to stop taking about me. While I’m sitting there trying to calm down, the drive thru guy and the other lady, go behind the friers and are still talking about me. The lady makes eye contact with me and then they split up. I tried to go online to do the survey and It only let me put the store number #1482 and the time before it kicked me out, saying the survey has expired....
Read moreThis place has horrible service. I waited in line for well over 20 minutes after ordering my food. Three customers came in after I placed to place their order but left before I did. I had a small order and when asked for the DM's information some Spanish girl who barely knew English started giggling...as if she didn't have common sense. The so called manager Martha (who was on her cell phone texting when my daughter and I walked in) ended up giving me some number. When I called the number the lady acted as if she knew no English and ended up hanging the phone in my face..I thought this was America!!!!
5 hours later I get a call from Zolia "the same one I called, who pretended not to no English, telling me when I came in I asked for "fresh tenders" which is a bald face lie....I was under the impression that the food was already fresh and hot upon serving. I explained to Zolia first of all it shouldn't have taken 5 hours to place a "return" call and secondly, I don't appreciate the fact she is deliberately taking up for the other manager without hearing from me the customer. Third of all I never asked for some unprofessional, so call manager phone number in the first place. I asked for the District Manager, or whomever in higher ranking position's phone number so I could let them know how I've been overlooked today and to advise them of how they are mistreating their customers. I've researched and found Mr. Michael Knoblelock # the owner of this franchise. I will be contacting his office soon. If anyone need his information I will be happy to...
