Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Houston

Growing up my family came here all the time. Now sadly this location has turned into a nightmare. Once before already I had to ask for a refund after seeing there was basically no drinks available and no one told us before paying. We gave it several more tries since then. Unfortunately this last visit I made with my family was HORRIBLE. I know it's a pandemic right now, I understand that their current rule is to serve us our food. That's fine. What isn't fine is being ignored by employees when you're standing there to get food. To be clear, I have to assist my mom who is in a wheelchair so she can pick out what she wants and I'll speak for her in regards to an employee crafting her food. Which makes my point. If you don't see two humans standing waiting on you then?..There's one cashier taking peoples payments meanwhile were standing there waiting and the other workers ignore us. They have the nerve to act like we were never waiting for assistance and help the new people that just came in for food. Pretty much the entire time was hoping they would pay attention to us and serve us. At some point I stood forever waiting for someone to please give me napkins as they hide them from people, and no one bothered to ask what I need. Oh don't mind me, I'm just standing between the register and salad bar for no reason at all. The cashier pays no mind and neither do the kitchen people. The last straw was some of us females needing a bathroom only to find that it's disgusting. My mom wanted to use the HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE stall only to find there isn't even a SEAT on it. I recently had a truly fantastic experience at Cicis Pizza, and I'm excited to share how much I enjoyed my visit! This location truly impressed me with its welcoming atmosphere and excellent offerings.

From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The interior is spacious with plenty of seating, making it comfortable even during busy times. I also appreciated the few arcade games, which add a nice touch of entertainment.

The buffet selection during lunch was great, offering a good variety of pizzas that were constantly being replenished and came out fresh and hot. Beyond the pizza, having options like chicken soup, pasta, and a basic salad bar really rounded out the meal. Everything tasted delicious and fresh, which is exactly what you hope for in a buffet setting.

What truly stood out was the cleanliness of the dining room. The staff were constantly cleaning, ensuring a pleasant and tidy environment for all guests. This attention to detail really made a difference.

The value for the buffet and drink was excellent, and there was plenty of parking available in the strip center, which made the visit hassle-free. Ordered for pick up at 7:56 and was quoted 23 minutes for 3 pizzas and an order of wings.. it’s 8:43 and we are still standing here waiting for food.

They handed us the pizza and explained they forgot to put the wings in. The girl at the counter said they run it in the oven twice and then it’s 10 minutes more so we requested a refund for the wings as it’s now been 20min over the wait time. The girl at the counter said she would get The manager, she came back and said her manager said we have to do the refund online then couldn’t explain to us how to do it.

Finally her manager appeared and she was super nonchalant about the refund and us waiting forever and just said 5 more minutes and walked back.

They are busy and it’s one girl at the counter who’s just doing her best but clearly overwhelmed.

They have no drinks available sodas or waters and everyone is circling back asking for refunds and it’s just an overall mess.

In total it’s 8:49 as we are finally leaving after arriving at 8:18 for an order that was supposed to be ready at 8:19..

So very disappointed when we were just trying to grab quick dinner...
