Came close to closing time on a Sunday night. I’ve been curious about the place since it’s only five minutes away from me but, never made it out to this little hidden gem, up until my parents flew in from phoenix az, and my mother is from Michoacán and my dad is from Peru, So, they come from a very distinguished pallet for foods and they know when they find good food somewhere and a good homemade salsa lol made by an angry woman(inside joke 😄w/ mama). We had various dinner plates from the green enchiladas to the caldo de rez and pozole to the fajitas, all of it was mouth watering and a walk back to my parents home towns but the taste of the food is beautifully blended w/ other cultures sazones, we absolutely loved it if my words didn’t hint on that. Definitely need to go by for their tortillas too. On a daily basis lol. The lady waiters very on point very straightforward and hard-working around the clock. Very friendly so appreciate their hard work everyone it’s not easy to serve. And definitely try their Michiladas delicious‼️ oh, and they mean spicy on their menu 🔥🌶️🔥 🤩Looking forward to making this the go to spot...

Read moreTaqueria Huetamich in a lot of ways really is your standard taqueria as far as the decor and the majority of food offerings go. However the one reason you should come here is for the enchiladas huastecas and enchiladas potosinas which you would be hard pressed to find outside of central Mexico let alone in most of the US. Enchiladas potosinas are basicallly folded over tortillas filled with queso fresco and then covered in red chile sauce. At Huetamich they are served with a side of beans rice and your choice of meat which for those of you wanting to try something new includes huilota a la plancha or grilled quail. On my visit I went ahead and tried the quail and it is very tasty and goes great with the enchiladas potosinas. Overal a great place for those wanting to try some Mexican cuisine that is not often...
